This chapter was all over the place and contradicts itself on many occassions.

The OC trust Itachi enough to tell him about his future knowledge and the fact that he is a Jinchuriki but thinks Itachi to being untrustworthy in regards to him being taught by Danzo.
Which is it, can he trust him or not because the secret of him having future knowledge will have a far more grave fallout than Danzo being his teacher if revealed !

Then the OC a adult male essentially pissing himself in front of Danzo and screwing himself over royally by revelaing having knowledge of Root and therby alienating Kakashi even more ... this is really krass author fiat to get your plot to work for him to land into the clutches of Danzo.
And then he just accepts his offer, what of i dont want to get anywhere near Danzo ? Danzo even says that he has to keep him being his teacher a secret and that doesnt ring all alarm bells in his head ... He already proofed not being Danzo match in regards to manipulation at all ... and he doesnt even for a single moment entertain how this can be used to manipulate and finally get him into Root. Furthermore Danzo isnt one who lets not getting answers stand ... how long until a Yamanaka or a Sharingan or Seal is used to make him compliant ...

Sorry to say this but Im out i cant keep reading a story with a character who not already was an adult but has knowledge of canon and even then makes one bad decision after the other and does it apparently without thinking anything wrong with it and is on top of it inconsistent in his decisions ...

And i havent even gotten to all the other things that are wrong with this chapter -
Sasuke and Naruto nearly killing the OC ... sorry not buying it ... not only is Naruto an Jinchuriki who is hated by the village (because his status is common knowledge) but the OC apparently too. Where are the ANBU guards of them both ?
They nearly lost both the village WMD in on fell swoop (Naruto and Sasuke could have killed themselves easily enough ... since their complete disgregard of how dangerous explosive tags are makes it clear the academy didnt teach them you to use those yet), without any further Uzumaki who could replace either one of them if killed or maimed.

Then there is the fact, that Konoha you know that very village that gave the Bijuu away in the first place would destroy a decades old contract regarding the power balance just to get their hand on a Jinchuriki, a weapon they until this moment never ever used in the field (as the only village in existence !)
risking another world war as the peace loving village ...
rather unbelivable ...
especially since they won all the previous ones without the help of Jinchuriki ...

And then there are the facts why the hell was the OC even necessary -
So far he is an Uzumaki and a Jinchuriki ... both things Naruto could have provided of being ... so the OC or SI could have just taken over Naruto in his early days and most of this problems this fic have would never have happened ...

Well an OC who breaks down, because he is alone but doesnt recognize that for Naruto it is the same ... no it is even worse but denies him his friendship brotherhood not sure what to think about that coming from a seemingly grown man ... combined with the fact that he is best of the class it is absolutley stupid, because it is a sure fire ticket to be on Naruto team if he doesnt improve. And that means he is on team trouble, and out of survival instinct alone, he should do everything in his power to make Naruto as strong as possible ... and that doesnt even touch the fact that Naruto would go to hell and back dozen of times for those person he thinks precious ... so there are so many reason to befriend him, but of course the OC doesnt and the story just revolves around the Uchiha, because they have cool eyes ...
and are the fan favourite ... but honestly by the time they are massacred the OC is 8 or 9 even as a prodigy he wont be able to do shit about if he doesnt go directly to the Hokage because the events leading to their near extinction are already in motion ...
so why waste time with them ?
Especially since he wont be on the same team than the second best (Sasuke) of the year ...
Oh and then there is the fact that if he would be closer to Naruto Danzo wouldnt dare come within a hundred meters of him or the 3rd would rip him a new one for messing with Naruto sole friend ...
This OC like so many other does pretty much everything wrong, i can understand it from a writers perspective, because you can claim since he never really butterflied events that most future events are the same, but that is not why we read fanfics ... we want to read something new, something creative ... and not changing things doesnt get us there ...
