Well damn, there is hope! Though I wonder what the whole resting thing is with the 'Turian' ships? Properly laid to rest perhaps?
Though I was hoping that the first-War ships would be able to use their main guns as sort of mobile man-sized artillery for any ground battles. I mean, it's old tech, but a 16-inch shell would still blow the hell out of any ground forces. And lower calibers would likely be pretty good equivalents for Mako main guns... especially if they are HE, since I doubt AP would as have much affect with shield tech is likely mostly designed to stop ME enhanced rounds penetrating.

My, is that Destiny Ascension? Considering who killed her, and what is at stack, I wouldn't doubt it! And of all the old ships, perhaps the best, considering she was top of the line at the time?

Well, they would complement the ground forces nicely. Though I do hope to see the ship-girls from the various other races at some point, especially since they would likely mostly be space-going. Imagine the depth of the navies from the older races!
Oh jeez, will SR-1 show up? She was a human-aligned ship that ended before her time.
Also interesting to see how effective the Thanix is on Abyssals. I wonder if there is some magic bullshit involved? Or is it just that awesome? Either way would be cool.

Oh dear, though that does make a lot of sense considering the fusion. I kind of like it better than the original Reaper origin.

As jarring as it was, finally having someone write the Asari assisting the Quarians during their flight from the Geth is good to see. Every other writer - and my own impressions from ME - were that the Council as a whole effectively condemned them to genocide without so much as raising a protest, let alone sending fleet units.
