What? Why? When he starts doing well he drifts away from Hermione? Wouldn't they be absolutely suited towards talking theory now that he's smart? Great story. There were some weak points in the beginning, where I feel Hermione should have fought A LOT more to keep their friendship strong, and that apparently no one cared a 14 years old disappearing for hours everyday and even stopping to sleep in his dorm, but overall a very good read.

kind of dumb, Even if ge did forget until the last moment he would have at least remembered the morning of the event. Instead you started the day as the event was going on and then had he remember at that moment.

Solid 6/10 work. It’s a “turn-your-brain-off” fic, a time-waster—a lot of tropes you’ve probably seen before, though none of them done poorly.
The story switches between the first and third person pretty often, which breaks the immersion quite a bit. Which is honestly kind of a shame since it’s such an easy fix.
Also, the romance made me cringe a lot. Just seems like its written by a 14-year old. But then again that’s something you can just skim and you wont miss anything.

Surprisingly, I'm pretty much okay with Hermione being left in the lurch. However, I don't get the Fleur worship. If the veela allure isn't a thing, she's okay, I suppose. By comparison, one does not need to explain why Tonks is attractive. I'm also not understanding why Ron didn't do WAY MORE rituals, from Rowena's book, once he recovered the funds from the basilisk. Also, I don't understand why Ron's parents went crazy and kicked him out of the family, and subsequently why his brother's hate him.
