What Ship's Cat said! I grew up in a family where the "other" language was a mash-up of Lëtzebuergesch, Flemish, French and German—resulting in something very similar to Yiddish. The idea of Illya being a non-practicing Jew is intriguing. This was an excellent story in all respects. May we hope to see more of the same in future? • NokuMarie

Mazel Tov! What a nice story! I was brought up with a few pithy Yiddish phrases, so it was nice to 'hear' them again.

This was thoroughly charming. I think you captured everyone completely in character: Waverly abrupt and manipulative, Napoleon a darling but not quite as smart as he thinks, and Illya his indefatigable self. The descriptions of the resort and how Illya is interacting with Jewish culture were a pleasure to read and I think you really nailed the structure and vibe of the UNCLE plot, with the mandatory false alarm, kidnapping, and plot-twist. I also really enjoyed the way you ended each scene with a quip, just like the show. The world you drew feels very full, alive, and humorous.

Nice, including IK’s backstory. Really liked the fake death twist.

This was fun. I was smiling all the way through this. Nicely written, thanks for sharing.
