Have really enjoyed your take on these 2 characters before they get into the nitty-gritty of the books/series they come from. I can see the prep work in the kitchen helping Harry in potions when he gets to Hogwarts and the critical thinking and analysis having him be more like Hermione and heading towards Ravenclaw than Gryfinddor. Will have to wait and see how manipulative the old bearded one is and if he can influence the hat.
Thank you for the fun read. Looking forward to seeing more and hopefully you will also be able to work on your rewrite as well as was very confused when I changed chapters and the characters were so different.

I really like how this version of Harry, in addition to knowing a friendship, will be well read in both things of the world and things of fantasy. Good concern about conjured food -he doesn't know if he's making it or teleporting it from somewhere else. I think he may like it when he learns about wands. Where are you on the theory (probably fannon) that living over lay-lines is one of the reasons why certain families have more power and also why children are sent to schools in particular areas - to fortify their magical cores while growing up.

The musical version was /is "Willy Wonkathe Chocolate Factory" . The remake isCharlie and the Chocolate Factory" . The first version had Gene Wilder playing Willy Wonka. The remake had Johnny Depp in that role. The Johnny Depp version would've post dated Harry 's Hogwarts years.
