Rereading this because it's a great story! I just want to say, after having read all 18 chapters, the tone of this story is all right here in the first chapter. A little gritty and very realistic, especially in the way you have Corona portrayed as a city that cares about its citizens, but maybe still can use some more ways to help them out. Of course it's still early, but the personalities of our beloved couple already shine:) And, lol I never noticed Cassandra there with Rapunzel. Thanks for story and I'll be waiting in the wings for another update! Stay safe

I found this story maybe three weeks ago? ((Quarantine is making me dig deep into fanfiction and AO3 lol))
Anyways, this AU is amazing! I read it in one day and I ALWAYS go back and re-read it. I seriously cannot wait for an update I keep refreshing everyday hoping to find a new chapter lol
I love the fluff and the angst. You captured both their personalities and I love that you didnt completely turned Rapunzel into a very naive girl like some other stories seem to do. She is naive, but she learns quickly and actually researches the things she learns! I know this is more of a Eugene "center" story, but I love those last two chapters when it switched to her! Like we got to see a bit of what she goes through her mind throughout the day and how she struggles with work as well as is aware that there is someone who possibly has a crush on her.
Eugene, omg I already love him as he is, but you made me love him even more! Just watching how he is struggling with himself, his mistakes and adapting to taking up on this new girl that showed up in his life. I love how even though he is madly in love with her, he doesnt rush her, he is scared AF and wants to take things slow. Perhaps because hes never been in a relationship, or maybe because of his dilemma with the court and the fact that he may be locked up. I love how you came up with his backstory. He did have parents growing up before losing them and having Frank and Joan help him out.
I have a theory about Frank and Joan's arc ((even though Joan passed away)) but with Rapunzel not liking her job and thinks about looking for a new one, I feel like Frank is going to hire her at the bookstore and since Joan as left, theres a chance that hes going to leave the bookstore to Eugene when he retires for good. Idk lol
Before I turn into a long post, I just want to say thank you for writing this! It is for sure one of my favorite Tangled AUs. I seriously cannot wait for the next update! :)

Omg! Thank you so very much for updating:) I needed New Dream feels back in my life, and you've delivered 110%! First of all it feels different from Rapunzel's pov, not that that's a bad thing. I'm really enjoying all the details of how he makes her feel and what she thinks about his looks. (And, oh yes, Eugene is delicious, YUM!). Anyway, I know Rapunzel said she wasn't freaked out when he kissed her like that, but I kinda...was. Sorry. It suprised me. But, as long as Rapunzel wants it, it's fine. More than fine, cause she wants him;) and what a place to stop, just before she sees him in the shower in all his glory. Because he is a sight to behold.
