So far so good, the only problem so far are some grammar and sentence structure errors.
And the part where the girls said their weapons were barely damaging the Neuroi doesn't make sense, the Witches weapons are just regular guns, their guns aren't magically enhanced or anything, there just MG34/42s, Anti-tank rifles, and so on, so in theory, the ship girls weapons should be quite effective against the Neuroi, because the ships girls weapons are miniaturized cannons and naval artillery but they are still as powerful as their full-size as counterparts, the Planes getting shot down are understandable,
And last is Laffey, you made a little to active, she's a sleepy little alcoholic bun-bun.
But hey this is your first fic and again it looks good so far and I can't wait for chapter 2!

this looks interesting can't wait to read it, and I hope you write long chapters but I'm fine if there short.
And It would be funny if the witches mistake the Sakura Empire girls as witches because of there animalistic and yokai features
And a bit disappointing there's no Kriegsmarine ships
