Hello, I love love love this. I had a similar idea once upon a time but I haven’t been able to keep up with writing until recently. I always seemed to get stuck. Those of us thought that can keep this fandom alive we gotta push forward! Can’t wait till the next chapter! I myself was thinking about writing some ghost hunt fanfictions. I have a few ideas in mind and hopefully I can push through and write them all to the end! Thanks for continuing to write for this lovely fandom. Naru and Mai are still my favorite ship and my appreciation for Naru as a character grows more and more anytime I see fanfiction of him. This is the most accurate representation I’ve seen. Him being genuinely unaware of his feelings is just everything I needed!

How bad is it that I came wait for the next time Gene speaks with Luella? He just has so many things to go over with her regarding Naru's behavior with Mai.
"Seriously Mum, I need another witness to reassure me that I'm not hallucinating or still dead or something. Everyone here treats this as normal Noll behavior. There's this girl. And he is ridiculously protective of her. Like acting like a proper escort and physically interacting with her. And I think he's a little jealous of me anytime she talks to me.
This is NOT normal Noll behavior! Mum. There was FLIRTING. By HIM! Okay, he didn't realize it, and he was so bad at it that I don't think she did either. But he was flirting, and Lin was RIGHT THERE and didn't seem surprised at all! If I hadn't been resurrected earlier that day, I'd have said it was the most surreal thing I'd ever seen."

Yay! I've been waiting so long for a new chapter after I first discovered your story. I am actually pretty curious about this case, because I only watched the anime. I only know the general gist of what happened, so I will look forward to seeing how you decide to write it. So far, it's a little confusing on what's happening with all the changes in POV. Thanks for updating this story! I've always really enjoyed it and it sparked my interest back into the series! I can't wait to see where this is going. And Mai's ability to move a physical object via the astral plane always piqued my interest as well. I always assumed that Naru and Lin must not have ever learned about it (even in the sequel manga) because that would be exactly the sort of measurable psychic ability Naru would have been all over. I hope that Gene gets it out of her quickly in your story.

Poor Mai is so tired and Naru is being both protective and a jerk about it which is so in character for him. I'm very interested to see where this case goes and to see where all the mystery from the last few chapters leads!
