Please update soon
Also I don't know if the manga tells you this but an the anime mai parents die they don't really say how. Just that her dad died when she was little and her mom when she was in middle school.
But either way this story is so good.

Love this story! I’m really hoping that the couple pairing is mai and naru

This is just a really small fandom, but this story is really good!

Yay, new chapter! I apologize for not leaving a review often, I just don't have much to say, really. I'm enjoying it so far, I quite like stories with a living Gene. Also, I've always felt Mai and her powers had a lot to grow so it's interesting to see that. And of course I loved her interaction with Oliver, those little moments when he allows her to see he cares are what I live for. I look forward to the next chapter. Take care!

Aww poor mai, I wish gene remembered what happened, feels bad that he thinks he missed out a lot with naru, tho I’m looking forward to where this is headed till the next chapter

I think it's great I can't wait for an update. Over the years new stories have gotten fewer.

So many things to say about this chapter... It broke me that Luella needs that text. What has her mind and grieve pull her thought? But on the bright side, she now has his baby boy back.

On the other hand, it's so nice to see the level of understanding Gene has of Oliver actions and gestures, he understands him the best, and maybe it is this same fact that contribute to his newfound jealousy of Oliver relationship with Mai because of his lack of understanding of how this comes to pass, for no to mention the changes in Olliver after living a year with the pain and grieve of losing his brother.

Now, I love Gene (you) pointing out the facts about Mai's abilities based on the only test Oliver ever performed. So focus on finding Gene, Oliver, and Lin dangerously miss what was in front of them.

It broke my little heart to see Mai trying to distance herself before they can leave her (poor thing), but Oliver once more demonstrates that he knows her the best.

I really like where you're going with this fiction.

As for not many reviews... I think it might be a combination small fandom and many of us fearing Rule 34; if it exists, there is porn of it.

Now Mai arriving early and seeing something she shouldn't, has been done many, many, MANY times with an M rating (or should have had an M rating). So maybe reword the description to actually say what she found? I know I personally, was leary of clicking the link for this story until it hit a few chapters with out being removed or given an upgraded rating.

That said. I am looking forward to how Naru, Gene, and Lin handle both the twins parents, and figuring out how to train Mai when she has to stay in Japan, and they're supposed to return to England. Short of Lin or the Davis's adopting her... I don't really see how she can get permission (or a passport for that matter) to leave the country.

So many things in this chapter, so I'm just gonna go for: I love it! All of it. A rollercoaster of emotions. I really enjoy your portrayal of the characters and all situations. Hopefully, Mai's okay, she should have really listened to Masako, I think there is more to her power from what Oliver, Lin and herself give her credit for.

It is nice to watch Mai, Oliver and the entire situation since Lin's perspective. The lasts paragraphs are so moving and heartbreaking but them bummmm!

It's an unexpected but welcome development. I always feel a squeeze in my heart every time I think about the excruciating pain Oliver should have felt with Gene's death vision. Love the short but meaningful interactions between Oliver/Mai, Gene/Mai.
