Finally the comments working. Chrissy I didn’t get the “you smell like snow” cause I don’t know much about Liason but she found him shot in the snow n help him, that they spent time cause Liz was sad over Lucky, Carly saw them dancing outside Kelly’s. I don’t know much about them cause I refused to watch anything with them after Sam broke up with him n I wasn’t watching their first go. I truly didn’t even know they were more then associates until the big fan war happen. I do believe he put more effort into keeping Sonny/Carly from bashing Liz then he ever did with Sam. Atleast with her, he would tell them don’t talk about her like that or walk away. With Sam he would say don’t make me choose but he let them drag her in his presence n just act like he don’t hear it. So imagine how confused I was back then bout their connection. I went on YouTube n saw some clips of them n Jason/Robin. I don’t hate Jason I just don’t want him for Sam no more. I always believed if he got away from Sonny n made boundaries for Carly that he could be a decent man. ChrissyFan lots of Jasam fanfics also make the mob work funny how it seems most kill him, distance Jason from him besides work, give Jason his own organization or they pretty much change Sonny personality all together. Let’s us know most think his loyalty to Sonny is the problem. I agree Julexis work cause they make each other better. Ya probably right Alexis was quiet cause she didn’t want to seem pushy or overbearing but if there was ever a time for the mother bear to come out that was the moment. The whole time everyone was pushing Sam to be with Jason n how great he is, I kept saying did everyone forget she cried threw her entire marriage, he was neither understanding or loving. I won’t forget him making her rape “sexual assault” all about him n his feelings or asking her not to keep the baby. I kept thinking he willing to help raise everyone else kid from the beginning no matter who the father is but his wife he got to be talked into it. To be honest I think it is why the split was so easy for so many that left after ended NuJasam half seem still pissed abt 06/07 or 11/12 n others just don’t like him lol. I will say that I have read plenty of fanfics were Dream n Liason are together n I enjoyed them n that’s cause long as Sam not with him I don’t care who he with at this point.

Aww Foxy (re ch 50), I'm sorry I made you cry. But that means it was an emotional scene which I meant it to be, so that's good. I agree with all that you said. She had it so good with Drew. Now, Alexis, I agree, I wanted her to go momma bear and say Look it, Sam... but at the same time, look how she's been beaten down over the years. She's probably afraid to say something because everyone accuses her of being controlling and that she'll end up losing Sam if she does. I think Alexis has come a long way, but almost too far. She shouldn't stand by and watch Sam throw her life away. My heart breaks for Sam too thinking she doesn't deserve Sam. I'm enjoying working on Sam's character development in this.

Okay, wow, that took a long time for the reviews to show. Is it just me or does that seem to happen each Saturday going into Sunday morning? But this time, wow, that was longer lol.
Anyway, I'll start by responding to Chrissyfan's review on ch 50.
Grape juice is a pain to clean up. But I'm sure it's worth it having your grandbabies come over :)
I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. I don't think any of us wanted to see Jason rescue Sam for the millionth time lol, but I felt like it was needed for Sam to realize she can't just live for those moments. She needs more than that. Plus, he saved Nina and Ava too, it isn't just Sam he saves so I think that was an eye opener for her.
I honestly think you'll like what I have planned for Jason. You might be surprised even. As Nina n Ava was talking I thought Sam probably did find it cause my girl was a good borrower with no intent on returning person lol. I tickled myself with that line. Alexis is right in the end the Cassadines continue to do stupid n deadly things behind that money n power. The fact Nik been playing dead without even letting his son atleast know he alive is crazy just to win he willing to put his son in danger. Cause if we honest Val could have easily took out Spencer for causing problems. Ava correct Sam wouldn’t have fell for her al of a sudden becoming friendly with her now that everyone searching for the same thing. Julian is the only person who loves Ava flaws n all so messing with his daughter especially at this troubled time in Sam life would be crazy. I love Sam was able to say what she felt straight out to Jason. I dislike how Jason really just lets women breakup with him and he says nothing to even try and save the relationship. That says a lot about how much he doesn’t love them or how he feels like he will be just fine without them while they crying n heartbroken. Now I did get mad when she said what happen to the man I found shot in the snow n he didn’t even realize that was a Liz memory not a him n Sam one. “You smell like snow” wtf was that when I’m sure she probably smells like fire lol. Ohh, you are killing me with all the liason references coming out of Sam's mouth and you used the "you smell like snow". I know you have a purpose with it and I am sticking with it but oh the torture.
Interesting cono with Ava and Nina. Ha! good for Sam getting the codicil. Oh come on Lex, just one peek before you burn it. Who knows perhaps Mikko has left the mantle of power directly to you. You would use it justly and it would be a great screw you to Helena bless her wretched soul and Valentin.

Alright Chrissy now don’t make my sinus infected eyes cry more than they already are. The can’t breathe cause you so hurt n confused touched me cause I been there. It usually leads to eye opening conversations n life changing moments after n I’m looking forward to that. That was the talk I really wanted Alexis to have with Sam the last day I watched a full show. Sam n Drew had just talked about the divorce being final n you could still see the love in their eyes, the way they fought not to touch each other. Sam then had a talk with Alexis where she said something like she knew things had changed when he walked past her at the police station like she wasn’t there. And I thought what did you expect him to do beg you to choose him. I took what she said like she expected him to do what she did with Liz n Jason. Which is stay n grow resentful when the person you love is always with other person. Jason was always popping up around her and I’m not sure anyone that secure to be able to deal with that so Drew chose to let her go. Because it was the best choice for him n his self worth. And the mature grown woman part of me thought this is way relationships should be able to end with an understanding that there is love between us n we have children to raise. Instead of the none talking, leaving before the other wakes, staying out late so the other will fall asleep before you get there and then finally both had enough n it’s loud crying, begging or total indifference that’s leads to hateful feelings n revenge when you finally call it quits. But I had hoped Alexis would be Alexis n ask her if being with Jason was worth losing everything she had. Funny how the one time I wanted the Alexis to question she didn’t n I was disappointed. When they talked about that part of Sam that thinks she don’t deserve to be loved the way Drew loved her made me sad. cause when you use to being mistreated you sometimes let go of a good thing for something bad cause it’s what you know and the what you know. Glad she was able to recall therapy in the moment cause that means it’s working and she listening n taking in what the doc says.
I typed most of this last nite but I was on cramp meds n sinus meds so I couldn’t finish it lol. I really enjoyed it.

Just finished watching yesterday's show. Carson were fighting and I found it so funny. She knows Nikolas is alive and that Jax is hiding him but won't tell Sonny. He knows she's keeping something from him and that it involves Jax haha. I'm loving it. Plus, Ava (who I sometimes like and sometimes don't), was visiting Avery and Carly was being rude to her. Saying how Ava gave them a hard time when Mike took Avery due to his alzheimers and now she's in and out of mental hospitals. But Ava told her she's as sane as ever (since she now too knows that Nikolas is alive and was not hallucinating him)
Nina was going on to Jax about how perfect her family is with Valentin and how angelic Charlotte is. Now, I like Charlotte, minus her bullying, but she's not perfect like Nina think she is lol.
Jason was talking to Anna about Peter and how he's responsible for Sam being in prison, meanwhile Elizabeth is thanking Peter for saving Franco. It's so annoying when characters circle the same characters and stories without sharing a scene together. They do that a lot with Liason. They've done that quite a bit with Samlexis in the past too.
Ava's going to have an auction for Helena's portrait. Completely different direction than I'm taking it. But it'll be interesting since so many people are after it.

Excellent timing. I'm taking a break from cleaning. I have a carpet that is very lovely but is a bear to vacuum, thinking about arranging for it to have a small accident. Grandchildren and play doh or maybe grape juice...hmm.
Okay on to the chapter. I loved it. I think Sam and Alexis' discussion was needed. Clearly Jasam had some good moments and Sam wants to cling to how that made her feel. She is stronger than she thinks though and while being with Jason brings a lot of good memories, Drew was the guy who got her through the day to day moments and made her feel cherished as well as safe.
As you know, I am a Jason fan but acknowledge he has some serious faults and probably his own issues. I don't think he is trying to be purposefully hurtful but it happens anyway. Jason is so wrapped up in Sonny and Carly almost like if he drops them he would lose who he is and he is stuck in that place and they know this and will continue to use it against him. I personally like the mob aspect on show and yes there is danger but there also used to be guards and more caution was taken. Not that danger wouldn't exist but good grief you see Carly flittering about without a security detail, Sam used to as well. For me the greater threat is not the mob but Sonny and Carly themselves. There are plenty of very good fanfics that have Jason and Elizabeth in a mob setting that work (of course those typically have Jason as the boss and Sonny pushing up daisies). I'm not sure about Jasam stories, because I don't seek those out.
All that said, I like in this story that the mob is realistic. There is danger and it has serious results for the children. It is also realistic in this story that Jake and Danny feel neglected by their dad. Kids don't just go with the flow and say oh well. They get angry and resentful and Danny and Jake are both hurt that Jason seems to be anywhere but with them. But, you also have classic Jason who is very literal and tends to withdraw into himself during emotional times.
Great chapter and of course look forward to the next.

Alright Foxy, I'll keep the soapbox for now, we definitely do not want you getting your hand slapped at work.
JRC/Chrissy- you know I've have watched so little over the last 5/6 years that I don't have a good grasp of some of the characters, so for now I am going to just sit back and enjoy what you write and who you write for. Now, Book two may be different, there could be some all out begging/whining about a certain pairing but will wait until then.
I think there is a lot that could have been done differently on SBu's return outside of any pairing. I think once the initial shock for Drew of not being who he thought he was, trying to give Jason and Drew a common goal to work together on and trying to give them a bond as brothers. Foxy is correct too: Love in the afternoon, sounds like GH is pretty low on that. Honestly it seems like ABC doesn't really care enough to try and correct things. It seems like they are afraid to shake things up because they will lose what viewers they have left, but if they did they don't know who all might come back. Just starting with good character driven writing where the women are strong and resilient. Vixen's have their place but I believe a woman can be strong without being totally conniving or hell on heels. Elizabeth, Sam, Alexis have show they are all capable of being strong women give them something meaningful and let the actresses do their magic. At one point, Jason Morgan was an independent thinker and not totally under Sonny and Carly's control. Stoic, yes but also capable of lighter moments. Bring that Jason back. I'm channeling the Jason who spent December in Elizabeth's studio after he was shot. Sonny and Carly were not on his good list then. He is fully capable of being angry with them. There was a time when Jason had a lot more of Drew's traits in what he would do and who he would defy to protect someone. Sonny and Carly have just beaten him down over the years.

I'm channeling the Jason who spent December in Elizabeth's studio after he was shot. Sonny and Carly were not on his good list then. He is fully capable of being angry with them. There was a time when Jason had a lot more of Drew's traits in what he would do and who he would defy to protect someone. Sonny and Carly have just beaten him down over the years.

If you guys prefer Brad, that’s fine, I’m indifferent. I guess it would bring more drama to fix his part in the baby switch. Sam, Lucas, and Elizabeth’s pairing won’t come until book 2 though, so there’s still time to think on that.
Oh yeah, well I would be totally open if they brought back GV’s Lucky and paired him with Sam, as long as they’d get together under better circumstances. A Spencer and a Cassadine, I’d love it. Not JJ’s Lucky though. I went to GV’s event at FCW, I think it was 2009, just after Lusam broke up. Loved him. But yeah, no to Jerry and Sam. No more pairing Sam with someone her momma has been with.
My sister is having a games night this evening. I’m so tired lol, but I guess it’ll be fun, I love board games. I’ll see how late it is when I get home. I really want to write that Samlexis convo lol. But I’ll get to it this weekend.

Any pairing? Hmm, interesting. Honestly, the pairing you likely already know I would say, isn't on the table plus the boy had some growing to do. I'll have to think about it. I like your Willow and Michael so needs a good love interest so I agree with that.
You're right Sam and Lucky were born out of revenge but Kelly and Greg had some good chemistry. Heck I thought Kelly and Sebastian Roche had chemistry. Inappropriate for sure as far a the characters go. But, I really liked them working together getting the boat going at the black and white ball, What I saw of Sam and Patrick I liked as well. Actually kind of liked Sam at that time too. I'm not a Robin fan (don't hate her but don't like her either). The character kind of lost me during a time when Patrick had plans to go to the race track and Robin wanted to go antiquing and kind of referred to Nascar as childish and I'm like WTF no it isn't. Ha! Sam would have scooped up the ruggers, got them some ear protection and gone to the track with Patrick in turn Patrick would have done something she liked to. Yikes! Did I just say something totally positive about Sam? I think I did. I think I feel faint (insert cheeky grin here).
