I absolutely love the Vader scene. You did such a great job building up the tension I was all but yelling at Luke for running towards the fight.
I thought the weaponize glitter bomb did exactly what it needed to do, be so random and distracting that Vader didn't just charge through it. I guarantee if Luke had something more "normal" like a bomb or just smoke he would have gone right through and just tanked any damage or blindness.

Anyway. Nice twist. I was wondering when things would start up, admittedly a little worried about if the storyline would remain "as is" for long but heck yeah! You blew that canon shit away with some dynamite. No matter what follows, I have to command you for that.

I maintain that this chapter was a clusterfuck of stupidity, since the existence of a beautiful redhead that answers DIRECTLY to the Emperor that acts as his personal investigator/problem solver paired with running into a beautiful redhead that is evidently investigating something in an area rebels happen to be when he knows they are getting ready to move to a different location because of increased imperial presence and interest in the area, and the only explanation i can come up with is that the author is fucking with his characters IQ, or this Luke really is that stupid, but strangly just long enough not to put together a puzzle a toddler could solve.
