Just In
for What Works on Paper

Shakaar is less than likable in this story, actually a user with a tendency to patriarchal standards, in which the woman has to cede to what the male wants. A man who demands such things from a woman as he does in this story, even though he must know Kira is uncomfortable with this exhibitionist type of sex, is contemptible. Poor Kira - investing emotions in a man who does not really respect her! The Prophets at least helped her make a very good decision. Hope they decide to let her find someone who is worthy of her.

I must admit that the combination of Kira's and Shakaar's family name had me in fits. Thanks for the laugh. I needed it.
