While I understand that you were emphasising Darkness's intelligence and foreshadowing her suspicion, you made Tanya come off as way too stupid for a tactical genius. Seriously, versatility and adaptability is key in war. While an adventurer doesn't receive as many boosts to their stats for level ups, they have access to EVERY skill. In any battle larger than 1v1 that is extremely useful, and even in 1v1 it can be so. Mages are squishy right, but what if you had a mage with a skill that makes them tanky like damage resistance or iron skin, or a lurk skill so they can hide and take potshots. Sure learning more skills will take time, but there is a wider range of high quality skills that can play off each other. A Mage shouldn't a threat at close range, a Tank shouldn't be an issue at long range? In war this sort of thing is very important, and why versatile assault weapons that can clear buildings and hit a target half a kilometre away reliably are so sought after.
Thunk of it like this, while in WW2, we had light tanks, medium tanks, heavy tanks, and artillery, now we only have artillery and main battle tanks that do everything. Survive point blank shots from 120mm cannons, drive at 60mph, hit targets 4km away. Having a single vehicle that can always do the job, even if you could build things that do a specific jobs better is so much more reliable, easy to use and efficient. If Tanya took Archmage, she likely wouldn't be able to fight in close quarters as she used to. Yes she has reinforcement and active barrier, but both of those are from a foreign magic system, and require a type 97 for reliable use. Furthermore, her observation spells and lurk are gone, and while Darkness doesn't she has flight, both of those are great for dealing with assassins, which Darkness knows she has to deal with.
Why doesn't Tanya just wish that all of Being Xs supernatural power is transferred to her, that would be a perfect revenge in a way. Also, when she does want to give up the contract, could she not get aqua to revive her, she's not hard to blackmail and I kinda want to imagine Kazuma using a type 95, not to mention she likely wants to get rid of it, and there are other relics. That said, even without the contract, shouldn't the type 95 work fine, only the circlet comes from the contract right? And even that should still just have weaker effects.

Will Tanya be OP with all these experience points? It's annoying how ants can hurt her all the time

Oh no, it's Darkness, isn't it?
Side question,.. with the new contract stipulating champions can make use of other champions relics... why isn't Tanya using the sword nerdboy tried to carve her up with? I know the pain negation is dangerous, but Tanya's not stupid.

Eh, Aquas ability to cleanse that hot-spring of the slime general's corruption was useful. Most of her uselessness comes from the comedy slice of life setting taking primary over the RPG Adventure background. You seem to be trying for a more serious story, so Aqua could fit just fine. The more important part though is that she resurrected Kazuma several times, and that'd be very useful to Tanya, despite everything else she does to be a nuisance.

Eh, I never got the Guy to Lesbian transformations myself. Or anything to bimbo. I've tried, but I could never understand the appeal. If you have the ability and inclination to transform, why aren't you taking advantage of the experience?
Just like I still don't get why Tanya hasn't figured out that a little judicious hunting will pay her so much more than those quests.
Enjoyable chapter otherwise. I like the blacksmith. Here's hoping she learns the Tailoring and enchanting professions next.

An interesting start. Though, I'm not particularly sure why she didn't figure out she could kill 12 toads for the 48K she needs for tomorrows lesson and meals. She could easily do that in a day, never mind a week or month.

Hmm... Ranged skills, rogue scanning, enchanting weapons and magic. Mageslayer, Arcane Trickster and Spellbow should all be able to do that combination of things. I don't know much about Konosuba beyond the anime which glosses over A LOT, so maybe they don't have those classes, but hell, maybe Tanya can make them?

Wut da fook. The circlet of incontinence? Tanya could have... gaaa! Hopefully her magic card choice is better. As funny as Megumin is, she's god awlful useless most of the time. Hybrid class for the win. Earn shapeshifting! Even if you were too stupid to take when offered!

Man your story just got more impressive. Still, looks like Tanya might have learned a thing or two in this fight. Thinking on it, she's faced tons of humans, and while she has faced monsters, it makes sense she would make a mistake with a undead. Even when she cut off the arm, the undead still continued where a human would have stopped chanting and screamed. But looks like Tanya still won, but with other forces like X making their move. In any case, will Tanya see the Crimson Demons eventually?

Well, when you said we’ll get another chapter early, didn’t think it’d be within such short time. Things are getting more and more complicated for Tanya it seems.
While she isn’t constantly getting shot at and blown up in this world, it’s obvious this world will have plenty of challenges for Tanya which will frustrate her to no end. At least back in the Empire she just had to follow orders and get results. Here she has to make all her own decisions and the consequences are her own to bear.

And so the sun sets on the Axel arc.
All told, I think this was a strong starting arc. While it is kinda sad to break up the current team, it was inevitable since Chris was never going to stay by Tanya's side for very long.
Speaking of our favourite peppy thief, she had her shot and missed. Chris/Eris is placed in a very awkward position in this story. She does have a zealous streak in her but Eris also cares very much about people in general. The human cost of the conflict must weigh on her. Her much awaited plan took into account the fact that Tanya might very well just say "screw collateral damage" and fire off an Artillery Shot against the five of them.
It goes without saying that Eris is unused to planning for conflict. You always plan for not what you think the enemy might do but what the enemy can do. You need to carefully examine their known abilities, add anything that logically they might be able to accomplish and work accordingly. On hindsight, it was not that unforeseeable that a trained soldier like Tanya would make erstwhile grenades. She can already make explosives, she is comfortable fighting in the modern style and so QED, she would replicate modern day tactical equipment. The devil as always is in the details.
Four dead Reincarnates, one lost avatar and probably several wrecked Relics later, what has Chris really got to show for it? Some misunderstandings (I am surprised that Tanya did not connect that pedo with Beriya. Man recruitment standards have really fallen) and some wounds that actually hindered Tanya from saving Axel.
One omake that might be interesting to see is Chris meeting her team in her realm for the last time. They tried, they died and she, as goddess of this world, has to see them off to the next life. Eris might arrange something cushy for them, payment by services rendered, but the meeting would one she would be dreading. What if, instead of excoriation or blame, they all react with acceptance? They knew Degurechaff was powerful; they knew that plan or no plan, it was a long shot. But hey, at least they died trying their best right? I think this kind of attitude, more than anything, would really shake Eris. She isn't a leader of men, she is unused to dealing with casualties that were directly her fault. As the goddess Eris she sees off adventures all the time but not adventurers that she had a hand in getting killed. Thanks to her agenda, four young lives ended too early. Okay three young lives since the pedo probably would have been killed sooner or later by an angry parent.
It is a good opportunity for character growth. As any commander knows, the first people who get killed under your command always hit hardest. It might motivate Eris to seek advice from her various colleagues. Really, she was acting outside of the scope of her core competencies. Someone like Chris would have been invaluable as an intelligence source. Learning not just what Tanya's abilities are in practice (which can be dramatically different than something on paper) but more importantly how she thinks, what makes the Atheist tick. Also as long as Chris was an ally in good standing and part of Tanya's party, she could vital feed information to other parties more capable of taking her down than some newbie Reincarnates with depowered Relics. Jumping the gun, acting suspiciously and trying for a broad daylight assassination neutralized any advantages Chris could have brought to the table.
Other scenes could be visiting the Delphian, the deified Oracle, and hearing a song that describes Tanya and her future. The thing is that oracles tend to be rather vague. If she got a song like "Los, Los, Los", Chris might interpret that as Tanya being a war maniac but misses the point of the Atheist being made into a weapon by Heaven who ultimately wants to "extinguish all their hatred". The best way to fight her is to leave her alone. Another possible song is Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" which again paints a very dark picture of what Tanya might do if left unchecked. The main point of the song though is the retribution laid upon those who start and maintain conflict; Heaven itself.
If she meets any warrior gods, they could point out something obvious to them that Eris herself might miss. Tanya's main threat is not that she is a powerful mage. It is that she is an excellent trainer, an accomplished field commander and a strategic genius. In other words she is a force multiplier all out of proportion with her stats on paper. If the constant attacks drives her to side with the Demon King, he would be able to invest a ninth General that would be worthy of the name. The current Demon Generals are the classic RPG types; they are simply very powerful monsters. Most aren't actual leaders which Tanya certainly is. Think the Demon King Army is bad now? Think about what they can do if Tanya were their commander. And armed them all with magical guns.
On a lighter note I look forward to what we will see in the future arcs. I must compliment you on choosing "Mithril" as the name of Tanya's charity since her moniker of the "Argent" (silver) gets upgraded to "True Silver" or "Magical Silver". I must admit that hearing Mithril and "Almagam" makes me want to see the Reincarnated Sagara Sousuke and Chidori Kaname (from Full Metal Panic) as Tanya's party members. Sousuke would likely be a very martially inclined Thief with his reliance on traps, feints and winning a fight by avoiding a fair fight. Kaname would be reluctant to show her Adventurer Card since it lists her class as "Frenzied Berserker".
In any case, I hope that poor Yunyun gets her shot and that we see some fun OCs in the bargain. Maybe a Thief who is working for Belzerg intelligence? With Darkness sending recon that an unknown, but magically powerful, noble is running around Axel, the Spymaster might assign someone to join Tanya's party.
I do like that Verdia and Ragcraft come across both as intelligent and reasonable. KonoSuba always had good villains and the Demon King is no dummy. If someone like Ragcraft and Verdia tell him the same thing, odds are that he will listen. Any good evil overlord should remember that their trusted advisors are trusted for a reason and that you should actually listen to their advice. The Demon King might very well run his army using the Evil Overlord List.

He is a Reincarnate himself after all and proves that there are powers other than Heaven to serve. Perhaps he owes his allegiance to Hild (the Big Bad of Oh My Goddess) or some similar entity. Someone who can empower a Reincarnate who has turned their back on Heaven. Oh yeah, you did mention Lucifer...

if it wouldn't stop Kazuma from joining, Tanya could just buy a House in Axel, a permanent Residence.
This way the declaration of "Stop sending Reincanates to this world, until Tanya leaves permanently" could be exploited to stop the flow for good.
After all Being X NEVER takes back any of his moves, no matter how stupid they turned out.
(which could be because he is unable to percive himself and his decisions as anything but perfect)
Given scared Eris is of Tanya, how bad will it be for Aqua? She is rather weakwilled and easy to bully.
Free intel! (or would be if that Dame-gami wasn't so dumb)
