Posting this review after I've benched read this story. In bed, from 12 am to 6 am. Yeah, I lost sleep, but I blame the cold, winter is a b***** to deal with.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story. Plain and simple. Characters are mostly on point, other than Chris, but then I realized what you were doing with her, and it made sense. The surprise with her was actually interesting, but I hope Darkness comes around sooner or later. She is a reasonable person, and-other than Chris, no one really wants to be on a team with her, so it's bound to happen.
Also, other I missed this party in my tired haze, or you've not added her yet, but Megumin having a pocket nuke would be good to have for Tanya.

So what I thought was going to happen when Tanya found the monster attractant potion, is that she was going to use it on an animal.
Then they could just carry the caged animal with them to attract monsters, and it being for life doesn't matter. They can always throw the cage away and let it get eaten.

Looks like Tanya realized from now on, she'll have to be more careful with her words. In a way, it's true, Darkness may not look like much, but she' actually really intelligent if she chooses to. And finally we have the battle coming with Verdia, attacking much sooner than anticipated. And without Kazuma to point out the weakness, Tanya might actually face a true threat.
Up until know you've shown her to be very powerful, but what will she do against a superior fighter who might just be stronger? This will be enjoyable.

This was such a good chapter I don’t know where to pinpoint my favorite points.
I kinda want to see more Aya, though I doubt she’d join Tanya but at least she’s not antagonistic towards her.
I’ve read that Berlin was the homosexual capital of the world in the early 1900’s, I wonder if Tanya will find that out when these two useless lesbians finally realize they’re feelings. Which I’m sure will have it’s own share of drama in itself.
Would also love to see some more snippets of Rex’s point of view, just randomly coming up in random chapters. It’ll be hilarious.
Something tells me that Verdia won’t be too annoyed if Tanya stops his attack despite her searching for a possible alliance.

Aqua is absolutely a benefit to Kazuma's party. Even though she causes problems, is barely useful, and complains a lot, it is important to remember that she does have an attribute that makes her the party's most valuable asset: she is cute!

This has been a very interesting read so far. Just one thing I'd like to point out.
When Luna explains the giant toad quest to Tanya, she says that the toads "mate and breed in Autumn". In this context, mate and breed mean the same thing, so it would make more sense to say that the toads breed in Autumn.
