You got me hooked. i would just say to switch over to the first person narrative when writting if your trying to put the reader in the characters mindset or third person narrative for more of a look from afar feel. Other than that, i beleive you got the makings of a good story. dont give up or discouraged. just write. you can always go back and edit..
