I remembered reading the the 1st part & the 1st chapter of this when it came out, but I've just found it again. And while I probably should've followed your advice of taking fluff reading breaks every so often, I'm glad to be finally caught up. There are so many moving parts, some storylines that I wish had more time (Kingsley's abduction and Ron's shadier dealings come to mind). I'd only watched Luke Cage and some of Jessica Jones; I've really enjoyed the inclusion of so many characters most stories would never touch. The only part that rubbed me the wrong way were the scenes with Percy & Penelope. They're about the same age. They dated, or something close to it, during school. I'm left feeling a bit squeamish after their interactions, knowing she works as the assistant of the man who was once her ex, and the (probably) correct assumptions she makes about him. But you know, still intrigued by everything.

Hello! I found your work through a random reddit post and I can say that this is one of the best stories I have read. I have binged your work! If you're wondering it takes about 2 full days to obsessively read both these books. Your work is fantastic. The way you write is compelling and engaging your characters are so lifelike and realistic and well thought out. I know it's been nearly a year since you've updated but I am on my knees begging for more and maybe if you could switch over to AO3 as well I would be very grateful . I hope all is well and that you are able to fulfill my wish of a new chapter. (It is my Birthday if I can use that as a bargaining chip)

Ok, I am very nervous. Also, Billy why are you so cute? This is being very bad for crush. But what else is new?
Billy being so understanding feels too good to be true, you know? Having Mia be so emotional when it comes to the situation and Billy's reaction is understandable when you think of Loki's words a few chapters back: she is dealing very logically with the HYDRA infiltration and very emotionally with Reyes and Frank. She's so strung up.
Also, I'm loving the parallels between him and Steve way more than I should. It's a shame though that what worked for Billy, the fact that it was Frank's decision and Mia was just respecting that, cannot work for Steve and the Bucky problem. That's a whole other mess, and one Mia is kind of making worse, as much as I get he pov.

Poor Steve is going to arrive in the middle of the Billy/Mia mess, isn't he? I have to say, I was not expecting a real romance to happen between them, but I welcome the unexpected from you always. I have a feeling it's going to end epically badly though.
Is the next one the last chapter for this story? I'm almost afraid to read it... Love you!

Going from the spoilers I gave myself so long ago, the possibilities that Billy is not an despicable villain in this are awfully slim. Still, that exchange was so lovely, and now I'm sad both for him and for Steve. Goddammit.

Hello dear author, I am so happy to be here again.
I wanted to say that I've been reading again the whole series before I read the new chapters, and that I've been waiting to do that as a sort of reward for myself for after I could finish writing my dissertation. It's been a real struggle and it took me a while but now it's done and I can finally say I deserve my prize. So I didn't lose interest all this time, I was actually dying to read it all again, which happens at least a few times a year anyway.
I've been trying to also find a chapter I had not commented on yet, in vain of course. This thing that we cannot comment on a chapter more than once really stumps me.
Now I only have New chapters to read and I am so nervous. I cannot express how invested I am in your story and I am. So. Nervous. But also very excited.
I love that you got Curtis to talk to Mia in that way. Sometimes the most significant words come from unexpected places, I hope that Mia can start to believe the people around her when they tell her that she can love herself again.
My Ben-Barnes-shaped crush is interfering with the Steve-Rogers-shaped one and with my feelings about How shitty of an ending awaits him. By the way, I'm thinking of witching the Punisher and Jessica Jones, but I'm afraid they won't be as enjoyable with what I know now. Do you think they're worth it anyway?
I'm so nervous about what's going to happen with the Soul Stone. Both Loki and Carol could do the stupid thing and sacrifice themselves, that would be a mess.
I can't wait to find how you are going to tie all the loose ends, like what the hell happened to Hermione's cousin who lived in the States, what is going on with Harry, and now just what are the muggleborns cooking up that Hermione started when she was a kid, and so much more! I am so freaking curious!
