This is lovely. You have such a different voice, wise and wry and observant and curious, and the way you choose and arrange your words is gorgeous. This scene is tactile and emotional, physical and philosophical. There is a lot of joy here and it comes out in a way we can both experience and observe.

oh my goodness...so much goodness...this little fic packs a wallop, and is a complete paradox. It is absolutely lovely and light, but also deep and sensuous, playful and soulful. And the best part? The way in which you let the poor reader share in this experience with Leia, almost as it if becomes OUR experience, OUR wished-for recollections of those roguish whiskers and the trail of memories left in their wake...

I adore this story, because it is a snapshot of the kind of relationship I see for Han and Leia. Tender and sweet and good for them both. It feels like a dream, like Leia is fantasizing but it's real and even she can't quite believe it.
