According to Meghan McGonagall, Harry IS packing a basilisk under his robes. (Yeeks.) She is meeting Harry for the first time since his first birthday. (She was seven at the time.) We also already know that both Dursley adults are deader than doorknobs (Muggle constabulary) and that Dudley is missing.
