Nice! Hopefully the paving will be done soon! I can sympathise...
I work as a teacher in Paris and the school is one of those adjoining buildings you can see when you view the streets of our capital. One year, the very next building (we share a wall...) was converted into a luxury hotel and we had the pleasure to hear all what happened from digging to hammering to drilling and... and... for nine months! Some days we couldn't stay in class because it was so loud and we could barely talk with the kids. We managed for the workers to do some not so loud tasks during a part of naptime but it was torture! Would you believe (it's a couple of years back) that the kids don't even remember anything of it now... so, for them, it was a good time anyway...

Fuunnny senorabutterfly! This happened recently with my daughter and grandson on a trip downtown where a huge amount of construction is going on. Of course grandson was totally enthralled by the bulldozers and such!

Oh, I have another agony I could give the boys from the construction going on at my school... poor guys. It's your fault you gave me a plot bunny, not sure it will happen soon but maybe.
