I recently just got into one of my childhood shows again and it never occured to me that the Queen still had feelings for Dodger at the end of the show. From what I can remember, I thought it ended by her getting together with the commander and that was it. But when I found out the Queen rejected him for Dodgers...It gave me the feeling of respect for her and potential for the pairing and Dodger returning those feelings. And not too long ago I came across this fic and it is SO well-written it feels like this is like the show but had more serious tone into it which I highly appreciate. I also love how you managed to keep Dodger's character on the spot even if he decided to settle down with the Queen. It gave him the chance of character development without changing his personality. Not to mention it gives me the idea of that he does like her in return in the show despite his stupidity and the constant rejections XD
To sum up; the fanfic feels like a good continuity where the show left off and could easily been done as an official episode! Keep up the good work!

Wow, what a fantastically incredible story, I confess that this, particularly, was what I wanted somehow... to see in the drawing.
I loved the story, sensational and its writing and the way it ends up involving those who read it. And this plan of the Z-9 with the X-2 I have to admit, it was quite ingenious, I was surprised here.
And in the end, everyone was fine and happy (or almost everyone, right...) It was a really cool story, it was really cool. Thank you very much for writing!

I would like to add to my review here. This was a great story which I enjoyed and was gripped with and couldn't get off. The one thing I would say about it is that it made you feel sorry for the wrong character. X2 is and always has been my favourite, so I'm sorry if this comes across as bias. I know he's the baddy and what he gets he deserves and he did something very wrong to torture an innocent. In To Love A Duck the actions were understandable, but in this one, just cruel and sadistic and it is understandable why the Queen was so upset over it.
I felt when Dodgers said, "just let him go", I thought it was enough and I agreed with Dodgers on that one. He had been locked in a dungeon and lost his job and livelihood. Then it came to the slavery part which I thought, "well he has done something wrong and he needs to be punished. He can't just have the equivalent of been sent to his room to think about what he has done, he is not 12-years-old." But at least Dodgers shown some compassion to a guy with a broken heart, the Queen just took it too far by being generally unpleasant to him after it should have been finished at that point and forcing him to watch the wedding. Once it got to that I felt, "I can't feel any sympathy for Dodgers anymore, this is just cruel. I feel sorry for X2, because this has gone too far and it is now inhumane and cruel." Therefore, it made me feel sorry for the wrong character.
This is the only downside I can give to this story, but apart from that, keep up the good work and I still want to know how Martians eat.

My soul nearly left my body when I saw there was an update. I knew X-2 would come around and I'm glad he did. I'm excited to see what the future will hold. Excellent chapter!

Their vows... so sweet. I may have cracked up a little at Dodgers' vows but everything was honestly so sweet. But eventually such fluff will turn into angst. Literally sitting on the edge of seat here. Can't wait for the big drama to occur. Great chapter!

*When you're supposed to be writing your own Duck Dodgers fic but you put that on hold to read this one* I almost squealed when I saw this was Duck Dodgers. Honestly there's a great lack of them on this site. Dodgers and Tyr'ahnee are so cute. I want to slap X-2 for hurting our poor duck. But anyways, I enjoyed this immensely. See you in the next chapter

I love this fic so far! Thanks for writing it! I love Duck Dodgers and always get so excited when I see a story about it, and I've always wondered how the Queen would have reacted to knowing that the Commander was responsible for Dodgers leaving her haha.
