I'm so glad to see an update! I definitely don't want you to feel anxious and stressed about this story. Everything you do is amazing and I know that even if you just go with the flow it's going to be great. Sometimes when I feel that way about a piece of work I go back to the source to get that motivation and confidence back. Hulu has a lot of One Piece currently available if you think that might help!
I was particularly a fan of the Zoro/Hazel interactions this chapter. They were sweet but still so in character for their fledgling friendship. I also found it touching that she recognized Dragon in some way. Is that her father too? Or is she like Ace and just a pseudo sibling... I probably should reread this from the beginning I think lol
I'm very excited to see her become proficient with the cutlass and become a more effective fighter for the crew. Also of course to see her relationship with all of them develop and form on their adventures! So I guess my final (probably useless) thought is try not to stress bc you're incredible and I'll love whatever you do! Lol I say that laughing bc I know logic isn't in play when it comes to anxiety so I guess just know that you're amazing in spite of it.

I'm so happy to see you updated. The straw hats are finally shipping off to the grand line. I'm super excited to see Hazel having training montages with her sword, and to see lots of moments that are probably going happen between her and Zoro, with him promising to train her.

I stayed up pretty much all night to finish the awesome story, so I hope you're happy. I really love how you've written Hazel to be a good big sister to Luffy (and as of the lastest chapter Nami), but also being respectful of the fact that he's her captain and is in charge of her when it comes to crew things. I'm also a sucker for a good friends to lovers slow burn, and by the looks of how Zoro and Hazel are interacting during the story it's going to be the slowest of burns. I can't wait till your next update.

Wow! I am really loving this so far! I appreciate you slow walking their relationship so they'll build a good solid foundation in friendship and so that it feels more realistic! I also love how well you write each character!
I'm very much looking forward to seeing what you do with Hazels character. Right now in my head I'm guessing all sorts of things. Like will she be a siren and have an affinity for water and drawing people together, will she pick up knife throwing or some other badass fighting technique like pressure point attacks... There are so many possibilities! I can't wait until she's a useful member of the crew. Its frustrating seeing her have such a strong personality but be mostly useless at the moment.

Its been a really long time since i read this oart of the manga but i think you did an excellent job based on how your descriptions of the scenes helped me remember. I also really loved the "These kids were gonna give her gray hair before her next birthday... " part! I get the mom friend vibe from hazel... Or is that just because she gonna end up liking zoro? Lol oh yeah i absolutely loved hazel's fight!
