This was an amazing story, I could hardly wait to read the next chapter. The characters did not have to be the Phantom and Christine, but it was nice to have someone to picture during the reading. Great job!

Reading this again from a while back. These two are so sweet and this Christine is so confident and mature especially dealing with George. This Erik is so respectful of Christine and willing to help her even if it costs him his heart (initially). Thankfully they fell in love with each other making it a true marriage in the end. I know its finished, but a future sequel or how they are down the road in the marriage (maybe a baby?) Would be terrific if you have time. But if not, it did have a sweet, beautiful ending:) thanks!

I want to write this comment before i lose this trail of thought. Recently i have been reading more dark! Erik, so this Erik is refreshing. I enjoy not having to worry endlessly about the inevitable discussion of the past. I enjoy not having to worry about Christine's reaction to what Erik did/does. Its so nice to only worry about the unmasking, but clearly it will be done out of trust than curiosity. Their relationship is healthy ! That is an oddity, but a welcome one. This story has been beautifully written and i have enjoyed reading about their growing attachment. This story is like feeling of warmth that seeps into you while being around those you love. Its the feeling of being cocooned in your favorite blanket. Thank you.

Fake marriage and there was only one bed trope? I feel like a queen reading this. The couple is so adorable too. The little gestures and comfort that offer one another is enough to make anyone yearn. They're so obliviously in love.

There are no words to quite justify or explain the amount of emotion you invoke with your glorious passages of prose. Such beautiful imagery, such beautiful feelings expressed so elegantly with characters that are so powerfully emotive that I have had a hardno terribly difficulttime putting this down.
My eyes have watered, my heart has expanded in all sorts of joy and peace reading this. This is unique in its transformative style, the flow is so lovely in the way that it carries you along with each rise and fall. Even through the trials and 'awkward moments' that occur, I found myself falling in love with the characters that you've created. Amarmand, George, Lydia and Dora are all such superb characters and so stand so well on their ownI would have loved more on all them! Of course my attention was surely upon Erik and Christine, so I was so pleased that this story solely focused on them. Their scenes were always so pleasurable to read.
You have been one of the most trustworthy authors I have ever come acrossand what I mean by that is that you're not constantly worrying and you are allowed to enjoy it without feeling pressurised to think about what next is going to happen... Not many authors have the blessed ability to allow to focus on the present moment as well as you do!
Inspiring. Simply inspiring.
This has been one excellent read and I dearly hope that you continue to nurture this talent of yours, because I hope to see these two again on another adventure.
Not to mention how lovely your Erik and Christine are, they are truly the epitomie of how they work together... Romance is impossible to escape when they are so close, and their expressions of love is so lovingly built that its a beautiful climax when they finally reveal what they feel for it other. There's no forced way to their relationship and so this story is so beautiful to read because of that.

By now, Erik and Christine's relationship have improved in leaps and bonds as they enjoy staying with each other and learning from each other. Their music serves as an allegory for sexual ecstasy. Neither of them can wait for their lessons, and as they hit a climactic aria, become subsumed in each other's voices. Their relationship might still be chaste, but spiritually, artistically, they've become bond to each other. I'm glad to see Meg return, but hopefully her ideals about romance won't cause any problems for Christine down the road.

After spending so long with Christine's POV, it's great seeing Erik's POV for a change. The poor man has been so isolated that he has no way to process intimacy or sexual attraction. Given his life full of hardships, it's logical that his first instinct is to be pragmatic. And yet there are still moments when he mistakes Christine's intentions. After seeing her playing happily with the children, he still dreads the possibility that she'll miss high society life. He also believes that Christine is only being nice to him out of compassion, but in thinking that, he also gives up on the chance of actual love developing between them. After all his doubt and worry, the ending of the chapter was a very sweet wrap-up. Erik is cute when he's awkward and embarrassed.

This story is absolutely lovely! I really enjoy you interpretation of Erik. He's more sensitive and gentle. It's kind of a nice, refreshing change from the mad, dark and dangerous Erik.
I was in tears at the end. The development of their relationship felt so natural. And you managed to make me absolutely seethe at that scumbag George Wright. (He needs to get what is coming to him, his poor wife.)
So well written, it's clear that a lot of love and work was involved here.
