Honestly this was too funny. That Uchiha really didn't try to bond with Team 7 until it was too late. NaruSaku weree better off without him. Still him denying anything for Naruto even more sad.
As much as I love NaruSaku, Naruto's most hardcore passionate moments were with the ungrateful Uchiha. If Boruto had NaruSasu ending it be better then the trash we actually received. Poor Sarada your father and 7th Hokage have a deeper bond then your parents.
Checking out chapter 2 now!

I enjoyed how you put the twist into that accidental kissing scene. The following scenes were definitely quite amusing and cute! Both ending scenes of each chapter made me chuckle and definitely Sasuke worthy scenes. Nice pacing and great writing of both Naruto and Sasuke's perspectives! You definitely still got it :)

Ahaha, I had a good laugh reading this! I was wondering how you would top your Valentine's Day story with a White Day one because it would mean Naruto giving chocolates to Sasuke.
Which he doesn't want to, and which he can't afford, and which he doesn't know how to make. But since that was the main aim of this story, it still had to happen.
And you did it! How sneaky, to use someone else's goodwill because we all know that Naruto's cooking skill amounts to nothing more than boiling water and pouring it into an opened pack of cup noodles.
That was quite the ingenious idea. We all know Naruto doesn't like to be beholden to others and we know he doesn't like to feel guilty at doing something wrong. Perfect way to have this happen. And look - Naruto doesn't have to save up his money anymore because he got the kunai he needed! And with no loss of face from either party too!
Poor Sakura. I suppose I should feel sorry for her, but I don't. Anyway, she ended up with her man and had a beautiful talented daughter so all's well that ends well.
I do feel a bit sorry for Boruto though since he does respect Sasuke. Wow, fancy having chocolates named after you, I'd be thrilled!
Hmm, I guess you might be paving the way for a future chapter in which Boruto and Sarada can share more chocolates and memories? :)

I like how your story starts out with Sasuke slowly accepting his new team mates, especially Naruto, and how the plot just takes off from there. I really dig how you explore the caring and kind side of Sasuke in his younger days. It’s a side we rarely see, and thus it’s always a delight to read about it. You have put a lot of work into the plot, or maybe you haven’t, but either way you nailed it! In my opinion you have written a wonderful and entertaining one-shot that suits perfectly to Valentine’s day. The more I read the better the plot became and I got to say that the misunderstanding/miscommunication at the end threw me off guard. I did not expect that to happen. These situations are always hilarious when done right and you surely did that. The last section with Sarada was just the icing on the cake, truly! Furthermore, I got to emphasise your wordings. As always your writing makes it easy for me to picture the entire scene and I envy that ability of yours.
So to sum up my friend, thumbs up to you for writing this piece because it is a sweet and light-hearted story. It’s a story we need more of nowadays :D

This is the sort of unintentional sheenanigans that could happen on a day like Valentine's Day especially when Sasuke tries so hard not to get close to Naruto or be nice to anyone. Be careful, Sasuke, Fate is always watching!
I have to say I'm impressed you managed to to accomplish so many things in a one shot - Sasuke tries to forget that kiss and learns that poor Naruto still gets teased about it. He gets to help Naruto without sacrificing his Uchiha pride, he appeases his late mother's memory by not wasting the chocolates, Naruto gets the calories he needs without sacrificing his hard saved money or pride, annoying fangirls get their just rewards - hah! It's all logical and plausible - I can just see it all happen :)
The best thing is, Naruto ends up feeding Sasuke love chocolates as a 'thank you'! Hurrah for that alone!
I wish that this would now lead to a White Day story where Sasuke can return the favour... but I see you decided on a canon ending after all where Sasuke doesn't end up marrying Naruto.
