for Priorities 3: Rule of V-Town

Really good chapter, Chrissy. I loved Sam's advice to Carly. I hope she takes it. Honestly, I don't mind the Jarly friendship on GH when it is an actual friendship when it isn't Carly running roughshod over him and anyone else she deems in the way of that friendship. If she takes heed, backs off I think a true friendship is fine.

Only Molly could give birth in a crisis, glad mom and baby are okay.

I'm glad the captives are okay and back but I feel badly for Alexis. Valentin does realize that if something happens to Alexis (which it won't) that Sam is next in line in the heredity, she will be just as fierce of an opponent and will still have Nic, Julian, Drew and everyone else backing her. He isn't just going to waltz in on a birthright.

That was a very interested and well coordinated attack on both sides.

I love that Willow decoded Charlotte's message so quickly. It doesn't say much for Sam's noted PI skills, does it? On a lighter note, the fact that Lucy's dog keeps mounting Kevin's dog and this seems to be a regular occurrence cracks me up. LOL.

The army is finally set to attack V-Town and rescue the captives and Charlotte. Is Maxie still over there? Unfortunately, with the way the chapter ended I am worried about Danny. And Drew. And Leo. And Lulu and Dante who are headed straight for V-Town, and for Rocco who will be left behind at Jax's.

Nice update Chrissy. I kind of feel for Danny and Leo as they feel like they have earned the right to go too, but in honesty Jason would need all the help he could get on the island and Danny and Leo have proven themselves. Thank you for decoding the letter or maybe I should thank Willow? I figured it had to do with lining up the misspelled letters but my brain just does not work well with riddle type things that are visual. Sad that Charlotte is so scared. She used to be the apple of Valentin's eye and now she is second to a brother and betrothed to someone who has no issue abusing his sister so I'm sure he wouldn't hesitate to hurt Charlotte. Can't believe this book is coming to an end and perhaps explosively so.

Alright, I guess if I want to eat for the next week it is time to glove and mask up and pull up my hoodie and go grocery shopping. Uck.

Sounds like GH has picked up a bit. GH has one set of standards for Sonny/Carly et al. and another set of standard for the rest. I could see the more Julian got himself mixed up in the baby swap rather than just telling Lucas the truth when he found out and letting whatever happened happen that it would backfire on him badly. Getting stuck with Nelle is an extreme punishment. I don't see any love/hate budding relationship potential, so it won't last long, only enough for Sonny, Carly, Sam and maybe Jason to express their disdain to anyone who will listen. Seriously, they just need to reset Julexis. They bring out the sexy in each other. As far as custody of Wiley, I kind of wish, the judge would look at both Michael and Nelle and give custody back to Lucas.

I feel badly for Mike, I watched my grandmother go through it. It is a horrible disease. Seriously this should be a story that gets GH an award if done correctly. Maybe Mo has already won something for it, I don't know. Aww my Lizzie did good. As a nurse she would probably know what to do before Sonny but the jaded viewer says, if Sonny could see past his flapping lips and need to hear himself talk, he probably could have picked up on Mikes distress himself.

Thank you for the reviews!
Christina, yes, I think true bravery is when you're fearful but do it anyway. Charlotte is terrified of the V (at least in my story), like deathly terrified and thought someone would confiscate her message, but she tried anyway. I think she's even braver than Angelica because Gel isn't scared at all. She knows Alessandro would protect her if she got caught.
Chrissyfan, I'm afraid there's two more books (at least) of the Almighty V. This will not bring him down, but Charlotte and Gel are scoring points for the good guys.

So Wednesday's show... I didn't see the entire show. I didn't get over to my mom's much this week and only poor quality episodes were posted for Tues and Wed which made me dizzy and nauseous just like when I couldn't get through the first scene of the Hunger Games lol. So I only watched some character clips on youtube. I think Millow's wedding was the big event of the week and people visiting Mike who isn't doing so well. Ava apologized to Sonny about Mike... which I guess is OK, but I just hate how Sonny never apologizes for his wrongdoings. I really like Mike, just wish he was someone else's father because I'm having a hard time feeling sorry for Sonny through all of this. You would have liked Elizabeth last week helping Mike drink from a straw, Sonny couldn't seem to figure that out when Mike was having trouble drinking... And Holly apparently died, so Robert, Anna, Mac, etc are upset, especially Robert. He got drunk one night and slept on Laura's couch, and they talked about it the next day.
Thursday's show they started the courtcase. Nelle was late and arrived in a wedding dress holding a bouquet. It didn't show the groom, but it's obviously Julian since Nelle overheard him and Brooklyn talking about how he sabotaged Brad's car, so she must be blackmailing him. So let me get this straight... Julian will get caught and will likely be shunned by the entire town, mostly by Carly who was never caught for sabotaging Drew's car a couple years ago? Ugh, I feel a rant coming on, so I better stop.

Very nice update. I'm going to have to read the chapter again when I get home from work but even then I don't think I can decode it. Although now I know I was on the right track with Charlotte and Angelica both being the people who help bring down Valentin. Never overlook the girls!

Even with your very nice hints it took me no less than five attempts to figure out Charlotte's coded message. But I think I've got it. What a brave girl, and thank goodness she's using it for good and not for evil like her Papa. Is Danny good at code-breaking? Will he know it's a code? Kevin probably would. Sam and Drew and Willow might. Charlotte was a smart kid, they know she's not dyslexic or just a bad speller.

I cracked up at the idea of Puppy Doc starting fights with the other dogs and Kevin's dog simply picking her up and dragging her away. And Carly is still cursed, haha! Yay!

Jason Morgan missed his beloved nephew's wedding. The same Nephew he swore to love, protect and always be there for forever and a day, till death do they part? Huh, yeah he must have been babysitting Sonny and Carly's offspring 'cause Lord knows he isn't going to be doing anything with Danny and definitely not Jake. Perhaps he and Sam were off screen getting one over on the evil Parole Officer. Darn I just dissed my beloved JM, pigs must be flying. Anything else happen in that episode that was good?

Okay just watching yesterday's GH... Sonny is visiting Mike. He brought him some iphone music and said it was Jason's idea. Surprise surprise... so now my head canon is that since Jason was missing from Millow's wedding the night before, that he was up all night coming up with that idea while babysitting Donna so Carson could go to the wedding :D I also wouldn't be surprised if Danny and Jake had a special night on at their school that Jason was missing from.

Thanks guys! Haha that speaks mountains about Kevin, considering his was the only wild and stray dog which is usually harder to train than from a puppy onward.

Aww, this chapter was very sweet. Danny did a great job with his sister. He is getting the hang of being a great brother older and younger. Loved all the dogs names and leave it to Lucy's dog to be the unruly one in the bunch. Loved that Jonah named his dog Willow.
5/11/2020 c53 5KittyKat06
It does not surprise me at all that Lucy's dog is completely uncivilized and untrained, and it equally does not surprise me that Kevin's dog is perfectly calm and trainable. Lucy naming her dog Dockette - LMAO. Wait until Laura and the kids hear about that one. Jonah naming his dog Willow made me cry just like it did for human Willow :(

Awww, Danny helped Scout face her fears and take a bath. I love it. *melts into a puddle of goo*

Thank you, Chrissy. I did get to see them. We stood outside out side and watched the kiddos play and chatted a bit. It was cold but at least it wasn't snowing like it was on Saturday.

Happy Mother's day, Chrissyfan! Were you able to spend time with your daughter today, or at least video chat?

Hmm, Danny's dream could be a premonition, we will have to see :)

I'll try to write the next chapter tomorrow. This weekend was very busy for me! My mom got double today as it's also her birthday!

Excellent chapter. Poor Scout. I think it was good for her to get all of that out and for Sam to hear it. Danny's dream seems a bit like a premonition (Scouts did too). Hopefully dream grandma has this covered.

Unfortunately I don't think we would see Sonny, Carly et al. as out right villians. The most we could ever hope for is some kind of recognition of their judgmental nature. Mo won't let Sonny be seen as a true mobster. I just find it difficult that they can be so harsh and bullying to others but still seen as someone to admire. Elizabeth taking Cam to Sonny about drinking. Once upon a time, maybe back when they were friends. But, Sonny has been nasty to her over the years and/or just let Carly run roughshod over her. They are not in a place where she should feel comfortable with him dispensing advice to her son. Although I suppose Cam already spend time there visiting Joss so who knows what manner of fatherly advice has already been given.

Re: Dante. I agree. The Dante we have known wouldn't just leave Lulu and Rocco. DZ wanted to leave and sometime (most of the time) exit storylines just degrade an other wise decent character. I don't know if DZ has plans to come back so they are reluctant to recast or what. But even if it were a temp I think recasting Dante would have been better than rushing to recast Nina.
