I don't know why I didn't get the notification from this new story, but at least I got to read it. I'm on my second reading, actually (binge-read it in 3 hours), and I'm savoring it this time.
Actually, now that I'm rereading, I'm reminded why I like your stories so much. You tend to diverge from canon in your own way, keeping it credible and plausible, and also seek ways to explore, expand and develop the background and secondary characters in believable and reasonable ways. The explanation on how Kikaichu affects the Aburame during puberty is one example of such, and a personal favorite of mine.
All in all, another great piece of work you've made here. Congratulations on this sequel and continuation of the growing masterpiece that is the Senju of Wave series. The only saddening thing about it is that you don't plan on writing a third piece of it, as of this point.
