Referring to attempted suicide as "an accident" is not only lying but removes any sense of autonomy that Harry has been grasping as.
The most consistent thing in this story is Harry just going along with everything.

I feel like the only decision Harry made for this entire chapter was to kill himself, and even then his decision was revoked. It's a pretty long chapter that can be summarized as "After failing to kill himself, Harry is taken to the Potter family residence, taught to be a Lord, and meets two other families."

I think the humor really stands out because the story is so staid as a rule. It's really rather matter-of-fact until there is a bit of rambunctiousness or perhaps some sarcasm.
That said, I keep waiting for scenes showing Harry Potter instead of an overview of studies, lessons, and events. I do hope there are some more 'action scenes' coming.

As noted, the tale was well written and really seemed to be building towards something unique. I'm sorry to see it abandoned.

This is quite different, I didn't know what to expect going in, but this is an enjoyable story thus far.
I am disappointed that the hospital staff did not recognize the multiple signs of abuse, malnourishment and neglect and act upon them. If the fact that a 7 yr old tried to kill himself wasn't reason enough to investigate the dursleys, those clues should have been.
This is quite different, I didn't know what to expect going in, but this is an enjoyable story thus far.

Thank you for your masterful work. I was not able to stay away from it. I would be very interested to read a sequel to this story. This story moves along and does not get bogged down in minute details that is dangerous to my mind. It starts to wonder off.
