Author Reply: I am finding I have significantly less time and motivation to write in comparison to what I once did. My enthusiasm for the site in general has also waned considerable. I don’t know if this is temporary or permanent. Sorry.

I can definitely see why Dudley's change of attitude, although welcome, rubs Harry off the wrong way and make him more suspicious of "Nora". At this point, he knows she doesn't want him dead, and he knows she somehow made Dudley change for the better. And, in his point of view, she kissed him out of nowhere. It's very possible that he might be thinking that he has a dangerous stalker with a crush and is wary of getting closer to her over these concerns.

I very much enjoyed Dudley being friendly to Harry. And I also enjoyed that Dudley still cracks jokes at Harry's expense, but in a much more friendly manner now - the "Now I am not so sure" bit. I know that they warmed up to each other eventually in canon (with mentions that their children played together), and I like to see it happening early here.

Hehehe If only Professor McGonagall knew that Tonks is not so much above misbehaving XD But yeah, I can definitely see why Tonks wants to omit some details, like the long and slow kiss she gave Harry. Hope Professor McGonagall doesn't find out about that so soon. It will be very interesting to see how Tonks herself will handle her blossoming feelings for Harry, especially since it's a very much forbidden romance.

I'm sure the young Mr. Potter bit made Bellatrix suspect there was something wrong with "her sister". Narcissa would be more likely to refer to Harry as "Potter scum" than "Mr Potter" I think. And the bit of the "recruit the witch in Germany" was a clever way to confirm her suspicious, and unfortunately Tonks fell for it. I just hope she can escape the Death Eaters before they can hurt her.
