This is great. You can’t help but like Tarun. I’ve sorta wondered how Jason would react to being dumped in a car overflowing with kids right after the embassy in Identity instead of finding Marie. This is kind of how I imagined it—Jason being kind of confused and awkward, knowing it wasn’t safe but unable to say no to everyone. Also, like you wrote it, all it takes is a mother to boss him around and feed him and he can’t do a thing.
