The first time I have read the chapter title, I know that I’m set for a rollercoaster of emotional ride. I am madly grinning then teary in a change of sentence. How I love the feels!
The first and last parts make my hear sing for Nellie! One of her dreams to come true. And then there are the times when I want to whack Sweeney’s head for being an imbecile, unfeeling bastard (so very much in character!). He did have his redeeming moments so I love him still.
A round of applause to you my dear Author, and would you do a well-deserved encore?
P.S. My favorite line now from the whole story is “Here, I’ll give you a better view.” Bloody brilliant!

So where do I start the appreciation fest for this chapter? The holding hands, the bath scene (Go Nellie!) or the kitchen one?
The kitchen scene I guess is my favorite as it shoes how comfortable they have become. It’s just like all the awkwardness melted away.
Then the highlight with the Parting Glass! What I love about it is it was Sweeney who actually volunteered for Nellie to sing! I always think that he secretly enjoys listening to her hum and sing when they were still in fleet street.
And then there is a cliffhanger there! Oh, Nellie, why not? Hahaha. Will the wedding come soon?
Lots of loves to the my friend, the wonderful author! ️

Chapter 14 is already here, but I am so surprised I haven’t left a review for Chapter 13 here after I have read it so many times!
This chapter gives me hope, really. In so many ways. I have felt Nellie’s and Sweeney’s relief by the cliff. All the tears that Nellie let out while in Sweeney’s arms are all those lonely years she spent alone. And now, Sweeney will always be by her side!
A wedding and babies are coming! Oh I can’t wait.

At first I thought i'm getting a fluff out of Sweenwy... but he is Sweeney. what a bastard. Can't even propose properly. Come on, Sweens. Ugh, he's still a coward. He just don't want to act on his feelings. To me it feels like he's taking advantage of her feelings. Poor Nellie. I'm really feeling sorry for her. She just wants to feel real love.

There are so many things I’m loving in this chapter, I do not know where to start. ️
Sweeney waking up with Nellie sleeping by her side as if protecting him from everything. Then there’s Sweeney chiding her for finding a new man. The easy banter between them now shows how far they have already gone away from what they used to be in Fleet Street. And it brings so much hope.
And although it’s just for aliases, they will be living as a married couple. Hahaha. I think I’m almost fainting with Nellie when Sweeney is referred to as her husband, and when the doctor asks if they are starting a family!
And I know I literally have gone crazy with the chapter’s ending. It’s their first that both are conscious and completely voluntary. Please do give us more!

Nooooo! A cliffhanger! I thought then it would be Nellie again! But that’s so gallant of Sweeney to save her.
I have so many favourite moments in the story! Like when they were in a tug of war for the scissors and Nellie’s lips brush Sweeney’s cheeks and he was so slow to catch her. I’m thinking then that maybe it’s because he’s stunned and blushing.
The haircut! Hahaha. Sweeney is so pouty but good job Nellie for being too weak in the knees.
And then them swimming! And Sweeney realising how beautiful Nellie is. Ha! I can see he has finally fallen head over heels.
But my most favourite part is how casual Nellie says “I want a wedding.” I hope Sweeney bent on this one, Love.
