This is definitely my favorite chapter by far. And I love all those other nine chapters so much!
Even from the start, my hear is already melting when Sweeney was stroking the hand of “his baker”! *Gush*. And the kiss! Thank goodness Nellie did remember! And Sweeney can’t get himself to deny it any longer. One cold no but a peck makes it all up! Someone really is getting soft. I could see us now nearer with a domestic bliss by the sea, Love!
But my favorite part was the warming up. It warms my heart so!

I've just found you're story and I love it! I love how you write Sweeney, the right mix of sarcasm and humour, and also the chemistry between him and Nellie. I'm currently reading another Sweeney Todd fanfic called Thorns and Roses, which is really good, but I think I prefer yours. I love how Sweeney treats Nellie - respect, but also not across to put her in her place. Honestly just love all of it. Pls pls pls update soon!

“Kill me.” And the world stopped. Poor Sweeney having to argue with himself if he will just end it, or give Nellie another chance. I was imagining, that when he let go of the razor, he is thinking of how their future of “getting by” would look like. All that pacing while Nellie is being taken care of, he must have planned their future!
His sniff at the end, when he was talking to the doctor, definitely made my heart melt. He believes that Nellie will pull through. And that’s all that matter.
PS. So he’s Benjamin now? And Nellie’s her fiancee? I definitely can’t wait for more. Give Nellie and my heart some rest?
You will be okay. Rainbows are just around the corner.

Sweeney waking up, thinking that they would really be living together is the best opening scene one could ask for. And I guess my glare is as sharp as Nellie’s when Sweeney stabbed the poor old man. But “Husband!”, my heart skipped when Sweeney thinks it’s a good alias eh? The future seems bright.
When Nellie poured her heart out and told her story, I’m so happy that Sweeney appreciates it and in turn told his own story. He did after all just heard her say that he is the love of her life.
Why didn’t a post a review sooner? I want mooooore, please!

A new chapter and all is well with the world! My heart beats wildly as Sweeney kills all those men to protect Nellie. And while they are safe for now in the warmth of the cottage(!) and their snuggles(!), my heart can also take its rest. Please have Sweeney sweetly (in his own Sweeney-ish way) support Nellie on her recovery. Can’t wait for mooooore.

"Don't cry pet," he whispered. "Are you sad that your dream will never come true now?" - This really did melt my heart.
But oh my goodness. This chapter was really intense! Poor, poor Nellie. She really has to suffer through so much. But I am so happy that her revelation to Sweeney didn’t deter him from saving her. There really is hope. Please write a happier next chapter. Though in the current circumstances, it is difficult to happen. But it is possible, I think.

You say it’s not your best. But honestly, the chapter is really good. But where will you bring them? When will the chase end? On second thought, if doesn’t matter as long as there’s Sweenett fluff in between. If you’re going to ship them off to a foreign land, can you grant them a country life? One that is very different from bustling London.
Whatever it is you’re going through right now, carry on. Good old days are just around the corner. I hope you’ll soon be okay.

I love this chapter...lol Sweeney Todd is such a confusing man. He wanted silence but when she gave him silence he wanted her to talk, but only to block her out and not listen. Oh Mr. T.

Please let our dear old Nellie to have that lil hope back in her. Sweeney did catch her and picked her up while surrounded with gunshots. I hope that’s good enough for our dear baker. I really can’t wait for them to start their new life together.
