Yeah, really need an alterntive to "doubtfully." Maybe just say she "murmured" or "whispered," and add body language. Bring this up because not only is "doubtfully" an adverb, but it's an adverb that really sticks out in this case.
-Apart from that, there's not much to say specifically. The chapter's a bit better than the prior one, because even if it has the same basic format in terms of plot and writing, that Liu is above Tony in age results in less tonal dissonance in terms of what's going on, and how's it being written. On the other, there's a glut of action, as it describes The Slayer's every action. True to the game, but presents a problem in writing, in that the plot more or less stops for the action scenes (the gore nest is a case in point).
Still, if the premise is simply showing the Slayer's actions at various locations on Earth prior to taking out the first Hell priest, then there's certainly worse ideas that you can use as the basis of a story.

Reading this chapter, very mixed. There's very little I can say is objectively flawed or anything, but had the following personal gripes:
-The writing appears to skew to a younger audience (the age of Tony, the style of the writing), but is mixed with material that is anything but - both in terms of source material, and the material that's presented in the work itself (gratuitous amounts of violence). The apparent intended age-range puts me outside the intended audience (which isn't a fault), but it does kind of set up tonal whiplash.
-Tony is able to name most of the demons that are displayed, and those names are the same ones that are used by the UAC. This isn't a flaw, per se, but it does carry the implicit assumption that Average Joe on Earth is able to name demons perfectly despite those demons being a new phenomenon.
Like I said, neither of the above points are objective critique, but they're the ones that came to mind. Make of them what you will.

I want to pet Dodger so bad after everything he's been through...he is such a good dog and deserves love and care. The fact that the Slayer rescued the dog was the same as he saved the bunny from the wicked cultist - some people forget that the Slayer had a pet bunny before Hell's demons took that away from him. It shows he is capable of compassion for animals like rabbits and, in Dodger's case, dogs.
I'm surprised to see Dr. Samuel Hayden making an appearance at the end, though I suspect it was going to happen sooner or later. Something tells me that this chapter was set before the events of Operation Hellbreaker - where it all went downhill and left the doctor's robot body wrecked as seen in Doom Eternal.
Well done on this chapter, and I cannot wait to see what possible new stories will emerge in the next one.

Oh god. Why would do this? For a good boy to go through that. I don’t usually get this emotional in this sort of fictions but you really got to me, this is the kind of hope that is seldom real, even in real life. The things animals go through. Just thinking about one surviving the Apocalypse, that cuts deep but in a good way.
