I've actually got a thought for that Botany Project Overmind. What if there was a way to safely grow the fruit and provide it to people, even if it could only safely multiply a consumer's power by 5 with the first fruit and only an extra 10-20k for every fruit after?

An interesting tale, linked to Carrots and Cauliflowers I see.
Cooler doesn't seem like a bad sort. Through he may merely be hoping that a saiyan kills Freeza so he can take his place. Still seems to be a massive improvement on Freeza and ruthless psychopathy. He may be someone the Saiyans can work with.
The Queen Romei is pretty kickass. That's Vegeta's mother, alright. And sorry Cell, I don't think she is taking any comers.
I'm actually surprised Turles is playing his cards so close, telling them about the Tree of Might.
Bardock seems to actually have some of his famed psychic powers, but they're a lot more subtle than I CAN SEE THE FUTUUUUUUURE.
I wonder when/if the Saiyans will realize a big number of their problems come from the fact they have a horrible society of emotionally crippled battle junkies detached from each other. People like Bardock and Gine are weirdos in saiyan society, but for them to advance, they need to become the rule.
Looks like getting Tarble is the primary goal right now. AFAIK Tarble is pretty strong, he just needs to toughen up. Perhaps Bardock is the key here, he's probably the one saiyan who could "get" someone like Tarble, who's a lot like Gine in personality.

This is meant to be the spin-off/prequel to Carrots and Cauliflowers. Shows what happened the day Planet Vegeta went boom from Gine's perspective as she was the one to explain things to Kakarot/Goku in the main story. Most likely this will be marked as complete/cancelled once the two stories completely connect.

Well, I'd say that additional two week wait was worth it for the double story update. I liked the fight section, but I love the drama being set up in this chapter. Does Gine really have a bun in the oven? If so, is Bardock the father? If he's not, then who? Toma? Thouser?!... Cooler? (:O That'd be insane) What is happening to Tarble? Is he being tortured, interrogated, and/or awaiting execution? Is he being held as a backup in case Vegeta dies? So many questions, so many paths. Can't wait to see what you have in store. Keep it up!

I hope your two fics crossover at some point, I'd love to read a fight like Bardock, Goku, Caulifla, and Cooler vs Freeza. You'd probably have to buff Freeza a bit or add a couple baddies to help even the playing field. Regardless if you go in a completely different direction, I know it'll be a pleasure to read. Keep up the good work!

I don't think Cooler is THAT much weaker. He managed to match Goku post Yardrat in his true form after all. I know he trained, but that seems like too large a gap.
