This chapter was fantastic, and I truly enjoyed how you incorporated the Drabble. Every aspect of this chapter was perfect. You wrote both Elizabeth and Nathan’s concern accurately. You could tell they care about each other, but are still too apprehensive to mention it. I am eagerly waiting for the following installments. This chapter, as well as the previous, was great!

This was very well written! I loved Allie's concern for Nathan. It's so clear how much she loves him. I think she puts on a brave face a lot, but she's still a young girl who has a lot of fears that the one person in her life who is family could be taken from her. And I love how you wrote Elizabeth's concerns into this chapter as well. Her giving Nathan the compass was so significant. That was beautiful. And of course I love how she realizes her feelings for Nathan when he's in danger. The fact that she ran to him and hugged him in front of everyone was great. Excited to see what comes next!

Lovely little fic you have going here. This chapter I particularly enjoyed. I feel like I can really see and hear McGarry, Krakow and everyone in your story. I think you have hit the crux of what is going on for Nathan and Elizabeth now...
Nathan is a completely different character than Jack (one that I find more interesting and layered actually) and Elizabeth may find herself attracted to him, but 1. he is not forthcoming with his his personal life or wants which, I think, is difficult for an open person like Elizabeth to work with and 2. her fear of potentially losing someone she loves again because of his job. I felt like you have touched well upon this in this chapter! I think that is what we are seeing now in the series.
If you have more to tell beyond your set chapters...I would be excited to read more. Thanks for sharing.

Oh I love this SO MUCH already!
-The silent but intense intense but also comfort between Nathan and Elizabeth 3
-Nathan coming to the school to say thank you and being a gentleman.
-Elizabeth thinking about her feelings for him
-Everything with Nathan and Allie was perfection. Their relationship has quickly become one of my favorite parts of the show. the dinner scene was so simple but so endearing, I could picture it all so clearly! And LOL as sassy Allie, I love that little girl!

You have truly captured the characters personalities. My favorite moment was either, when Nathan offered to escort Elizabeth home, or when Allie asked Nathan why he is awkward around Elizabeth. My favorite moment was when Allie confronted Nathan about is awkwardness around Elizabeth, definitely something she would do.
