"Getting to know Nathan Grant came in glimpses." I LOVE that line! That hits the nail on the head for how we've been getting to know him over the past couple of seasons. He seems withdrawn and hard to figure out, then something will come along that gives us a view into his heart and what makes him tick. I love that he asked if he and Allie could walk Elizabeth home. That was sweet. And Lucas showing up...oooh boy! Also loved the family dynamic between Nathan and Allie at their home. I can't wait to see where you take this!

That a great first chapter! Very cute. I especially liked the "why haven't you learned to talk to Mrs. Thornton yet" line (along with the spelling bee talk, of course).
