Was thinking about this story and so I found it here too it seems.

And so ends the cacophony of Book 1 of the series, one I'd like to dub as Rebirth. Chapters 1 to 3, Guardian, Shattered Hearts, and Light's Elegy. I have a habit of giving random titles, and for that, I apologize.
As for the story itself, I know not of Destiny, but I know Arknights, and how you intertwined the two worlds is splendid! The little tidbits from the Last City regarding the Terrans at the start of every chapter is a neat tradition, favorites being the Hidden Kazdel Intel Files and the Eververse Trading Gallery conversations. Really shows how hard the humans have been learning on Terra and how they have been interspersing with each other on friendly terms. The Eliksni and Lungmen's Arc Reactor are proof of that!
As for Doc Maxwell himself, first chapter and he's already proving his veering off canon! Instead of being laid in the Sarcophagus for 3 years, he ended being experimented on a living weapon project by the Russians and was left to rot to death, and he would be dead if Soulworker just left him to rot. And now he's a Lightbearer/Guardian/what have you, who may well be a capable and powerful fighter once he properly trains. But damn. Now his memories are appearing more frequently unlike canon due to his new status, and lesson learned, never send him on RAGE MODE.
All duly said, you've earned yourself a new fan! Heck, do you mind if we can talk more about this story of yours more? I'm practically invested in how this will roll out for Book 2!

this was a decent chapter...but this story is about the Doctor being a guardian? need more of that otherwise this is a good fic.

The story so far is pretty good. I like the fact that you're also switching the perspectives around with the characters. The intro parts to each chapter are also pretty nice with how they establish the Destiny aspect of the story. I also like how your portraying the Doctor's character, with the amnesiac and ruthlessness that's shown in Arknights. Although I'm curious on how Amiya and Kaltsit's perspectives are on the changes within the Doctor. Pretty good job so far man.
