I know this situation would be really difficult for Tom, but I know he would be able to do it (and he had been for several years in Naomi and Icheb's universe). I hadn't thought about him telling his dad, but this was really great, but sad. I would love to read more stories about Tom as Captain if you get inspired. Thank you for all your wonderful stories, including Facets. I'm reading Season 7.5 through for about the 4th time, but this time on AO3.
