In many ways this chapter was really good. The only things I might have changed was that I don’t necessarily think that Mrs Lovett would necessarily had the courage to show Sweeney Lucy’s grave straight after he had rejected her. I think she probably would have wanted some time to get herself together.
One of my favourite parts, though, was when Sweeney said “If you waited fifteen years for me, I will try to make it worth it.” I think this is one of the times that Benjamin Barker really shines through the mask of Sweeney Todd.

Oh noes! I’m crying, really. My heart is crying for all their what ifs. But then I believe it’s not yet too late. Sweeney could still marry Eleanore. They could have that little red-haired girl with warm brown eyes. They could still move to the sea like she wanted...How I hate Lucy.
But I love, love, love this chapter. But you better make up to us for this one, love.

I hope Sweeney or at least a part of his past will now find closure with Lucy now that he'd seen her grave. And hopefully too, even a small spark within him to move on.

“I know you’re in love with me.”
I honestly love that line and I don’t even know why. It’s just so simple and meaningful - a real contrast to the sharp, aggressive Sweeney we see in other chapters. Honestly. If, for whatever reason, you decide to stop writing this story I think I might die. It is actually the best.

FINALLY! I’m crying happy tears knowing that Sweeney finally realise Nellie’s worth, and how important she is in his life. CLAP! CLAP! CLAP! Really, I have not sensed the last scene coming in this chapter. But oh how I love it. It was just perfect. So I guess we will have more Sweenett fluff now ei. You’ll making so many people happier. I hope they continue with this domestic bliss before tension builds up again. But really you should know that this chapter would make up for all the chapters you will decide to gift us up until it’s Sweeney’s turn to say I love you. There can be a dozen chapter in between and it’s okay!

my sweenett feels is tingling. I really like the idea of Mrs. Lovett being able to look after herself in most of situations. She's not really a damsel-in-distress kind of person. But in a very threatening situations like this, I 100 percent support Sweeney-To-The-Rescue act. Though I also like the idea of Sweeney trying to rescue Mrs. Lovett even in small situations but I can only wish. Sweeney was too busy being a bastard to Mrs. Lovett before now. This was wild and amazing chapter. i'm looking forward to what comes next.

I hope that the mending of their relationship goes along with Sweeney’s physical mending. I can definitely see the start of their relationship! Just a question, has Nellie really whored herself? If yes, please make it easier for Sweeney to accept. Theirs not really a moral business, innit?
