I respect you for having the initiative to write your own version when you don't feel completely happy with another's. That's the basis for fanfiction, after all. And if people don't like it, the simplest solution is just not reading. Anyway... things have stayed pretty much close to the book, I wonder it there will be anything different? Considering Bella and some background stuff are. Ugh, yeah, Edward was pretty rude turning his back to her, making it pretty obvious he didn't want to talk to her. In canon I've always thought that scene in the hospital was quite infuriating with edward's back and forth.

well, another day finished! and edward and bella talked! kinda wondering if he already knew or simply learnt asl while he was away because he was fascinated with bella. tho i don't believe he knows "a little bit" haha he does perfect recall, after all. i'm so glad bella found companionship with angela, it's such a nice touch that she's trying to integrate her into the friend group, even tho bella is mostly annoyed with them.

Oh! this is such an interesting premise and im glad that you as an author have some knowledge into the deaf experience so it doesn't read cheap or disrespectful, i also like very much your AN with the little insights (i would suggest tho that you try to separate the note and the text with a line break, for clarity sake). i do hope bella doesn't feel as isolated later on, it must not be easy and less with a vampire trying not to eat you!
