This was such a stupid waste of time around 50k words about nothing. Yes, we got to know that Kushina was kidnapped. But then what? Several chapters full of fillers with the plot going nowhere. Kushina and her child did not even get to Konoha so this entire story is garbo simply because the only interesting thing in it is the situation with Kushina's kidnapping yet, it doesn't even get to the first step of being resolved.
Instead, the author is writing Danzo's autobiography or some other BS nobody cares about. Seriously...

These last two chapters have been a real tease. And I don't mean it in a good way. You left us in the mother of all cliffhangers to give use two chapters that are essentially flashbacks and filler. I honestly just skipped chapter 8 entirely and skimmed chapter 9. I didn't need to know why Danzo would betray the village as I can already guess that in his own twisted mind that he believes he's doing the right thing.
I am really looking forward to you finally going back to the present and leave the flashbacks to speculation or hints instead of full on chapters dedicated to them.

OH MY GOD! You made the new version of the story. I was really sad when I realised the other story wouldn't be updated. I moved on from Naruto fics to other fandoms. Cool story idea. I'm excited to see Konoha's reaction to the return of the Uzumakis as well as the fallout for the elders. I was also wondering whether or not you planned to wrap the story up once everyone is home, or will you continue it to show Naruto grow up?

I am going to cry if we never see Kaoru alive again! Come back safe, Kauru-chan! Well, at least you had to decency to put in a bit of cuteness with Naruto and Kurama. Oh my goodness, Naruto called him a cute furball! Lol. And it's adorable that Kurama let Naruto play with his chakra to keep him happy! Also, YAY! Itachi to the rescue!
