Oh, both of these tributes seem super sweet! I wish we knew more about District 9 canonically, but it seems like you did it justice. I respect how Poale made his brother promise not to volunteer for him. It make sense, because when there’s seven other mouths to feed in a poor district, you have to make those hard decisions. I also like how Poale’s brother respected that agreement. It shows that he understands the situation and that he isn’t controlled by his emotion.
I also really liked Iulia (love the name!). Her friendship with Bennet was cute. I also really liked her reaction to Vibia’s dress. Most people in the districts make fun of Capitol fashion (and understandably so) but she didn’t. I hope we get to see more of that side of her.

Walter: I really like him. He’s a good kid and he has a fun relationship with Archie. I also feel bad he lost his dad when he was young. I like that he’s a fashionable person since he lives in District 8 too. I think he can go far.

Omg I submitted 2 tributes to the same SYOT that Elora was submitted to. (I promise none of my tributes are resubmissions lol) but the author of that SYOT hasn't updated for a while so it might be abandoned. I will tell you if the story gets updated, but I can understand that the creator of Flora resubmitted it because the author of the 99th hunger games haven't updated for a while. But yes I can confirm elora is a resubmission because I found her on the Tribute List of that SYOT as the district 8 female. I like Walter a lot and keep up the good work!

Salix: I really like tributes who have a bit of a philosopher in them. Kids that can be social but also enjoy alone time. It makes my inner introvert happy to see kids like these. His parents seem really sweet, especially his mom. Salix could be strong, being able to leap through trees if there are trees in the arena. He likely won't be good with a weapon though, since most D7 tributes are great with an ax while he just says he's only adequate with one. I'm not sure why his parents are so confident he'd win, or maybe they're just agreeing to make sure he has confidence if he did get picked which he did.
Grove: Halfway through reading her PoV I started assuming she was 16-18 years old. Her thought process really sounds like an older teenager to me, especially with how she watches after her sister. She really seems to take good care of her. Her age may still be a weakness at 13 but she seems pretty strong for a youngster. Wow she even pulled a Katniss and volunteered for her sister. She seems observant and could be someone who goes deep into the games just by being able to be smart and avoid danger. I really like her.

2) Grove's mother died. Her father pretty much ignored her and her sister. Blaming them for her death and only seeing them once a week to bring them food.

Arlo: He seems like he could be an awesome tribute. It felt like a lot of his part focused on his family life which I enjoyed but I look forward to seeing more of what he's like. It make me sad that he doesn't feel like he has a very good chance. Being as social and supposedly funny as he is should help him a lot. I'm putting him in love for now but mostly b/c I don't have anyone there yet and I think he'll grow on me, but he's really just a stronger like.
