Why is it all this cloak & dagger with Pointdexter and the shadowy figure made me have flashback to vaugely remember a plot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer dealing with a shadowy secret Govt group (think it was called The Initiative)? On the surface they seemed like good guys (fight against the vampires & demons) but were highly immoral and illegal in practice.

I don't know if you knew about a Dr. Bombay or not, but way back in the dark ages ( med 1960's) there was a very very good TV show called Bewitched. On it if anyone got sick or need medication Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) would call out Paging doctor Bombay, Paging doctor Bombay. And he would appear... So Thank you for bringing back a Great Memory. Thank you!

Hermione's September 19th birthday means she turned 17, or of age, in her sixth year. She's completely legal in Britain at this point for nearly a year, and Harry turned 17 on the just passed July 31st. Both can cast freely, as can Ron I am sure, and that's not including anything from their bond/marriage or Gringotts efforts, or even being monster hunters.

Poor, poor Fumblemort. He simply outsmarted himself but good this time. Now then, I really hate to say this, but this story needs a bit more editing. In many of the chapters you left out words that needed to be there for that sentence to make sense. Now before you even begin to think I'm capable of being a Bata reader, my spelling is only as good as my spell checker and grammar checker. Then there's my dictionary. Without all three none of my reviews would make sense! I'm a constantly recovering dyslexic. Yes, I have found a way to bet it somewhat but it's always a battle. Anywho, as I said poor, poor Fumblemort outsmarted himself this time and missed the battle. I'm extremely sure he would be pissed as hell should he learn just how Harry beat Vulturewurst. Then he went even more off the deep end and drove off the only two people who A, knew he was still alive and B, where to find him. No grandiose tomb on the grounds of Hogwarts nor the Dumbledore family one for that matter for him now. Or say the muggles say " Too bad. So sad! " With the Pureblood Death Eaters gone there's a damn good chance that the magical world of Briton will quickly join the rest of the world in the twenty-first century. With any luck, they'll give ole Fudge the steel toed boot to the arse and get someone who A, isn't as stupid, greedy or corrupt in office. But I imagine the ministry won't be happy when Mr. and Mrs. Potter vanish. I enjoyed this and intend to see if any of your other stories interest me.

I'm pretty disposed to H/Hr/L myself and usually don't consider Ron worth the air he breaths. However, this Ron is much different from what I usually read in stories. He's considerate and loving of Luna. As for Luna missing seventh year because of a child, Harry might consider paying for tutors for her. She is a good friend so I could easily see him doing it. Now Good Ole Fumblemort is gonna have a fit if Harry and Hermione actually make the best use of their Dark Creature Hunting License. He's been doing his best over the years to see to it that they never suffer for their crimes. Doesn't doesn't matter to him how many muggles, muggle-born, half-bloods or even Purebloods they've killed or tortured, they should not have to face the punishment for such crimes as anyone else would. So, the ICW handing out those licenses and the Queen saying " Happy Hunting! " is not gonna fit in with his plans for the magical world. BTW, I don't use the words " Wizarding World " because that implies to me that witches are at best second class citizens. And it's long past time they came out of the Sixte0enth, seventeenth, or eighteenth centuries and joined the rest of the world in the twenty-first century. Muggles have accomplished more in the past few decades then all the wizards and witches combined have even thought of doing! Traditions have their place but when they retard the development of a people it's time to leave them by the way side and advance.

Yes, but they both missed that Mrs. Weasley was aiming to marry both off to her two youngest. And that Good Ole Fumblemort was perfectly fine with it. Though, going by the fact that he never even attempted to train Harry to defeat Vulturewurst, it's far more likely he planned for Harry to die. Whether or not he planned for Harry to contimue the Potter Bloodline I can't say at this point. However, in most fanfics I've read if he does plan on it it's always with Ginny and most times Harry's supposed to die after Ginnuy's pregnant. He's done his best to ensure that Harry doesn't get together with Hermione. Thus Love Potions, Compulsions and the like to ensure it never happens. We see that in this story when Remus thinks about how Molly has been dosing both while on vacation and the Hogwash House Elfs ensure they get it while in me this point to Fumblemort being a comntrol freak. He has to control every aspect of peoples lives. This is shown to be true when Moody questions him about Harry while Fumblemort's in hiding after having faked his death. Thus the so-called Leader of the Light ain't so light as he'd have everyone believe.
