Hopefully getting everything out in the open, no more secrets will work for them...just hope Kate concentrates more on this new chance with Castle by letting him know that she loves him too and this isn’t all about being partners at work and what information he has about her and her mom’s shooting. She said “what she wanted them to be” but she never really came out and told Rick how she feels about him.

Totally didn’t expect those comments from Gates, but glad she said them. Very proud of Kate for seeking castle out and making it clear that she wanted him by her side to go through the file.

Extremely good chapter over all. Excellent writing on the scene at The Old Haunt from the "Tiff" to Kate's departure and the promise of a bike ride in their future. Really good move for Rick to hold onto the flash drive until they could go through it together otherwise it would have burned a hole in Kate's pocket. I am looking forward to the resolution of the flash drive and as Gates said the resolution to their relationship. I hope Kate finally admits her true feelings for Rick.
