“...held fast to the hand of the only protective charm he would ever need.” Excuse me, there’s something in my eye.
I loved reading this scene from Ren’s perspective! We get bits and pieces of his backstory and thoughts in the actual series, but I love an actual deep-dive into how he feels about Kyoko, his excitement at seeing her on set, and how important she is to him. All so sweet, I just loved it!
Thank you for doing Ren/Kyoko week! I’ve really enjoyed reading these stories! :D

I actually really loved this! I liked that the kissing was stilted and awkward and that Ren and Kyoko, instead of just kissing and getting wrapped up in it, had an actual conversation about their feelings. I suppose someone who was looking for gushy romance might find this unfulfilling, but I thought it was great Ren/Kyoko characterization and maybe the end even carried a hint of more? (It’s fanfiction, let me imagine!)
