I'm glad Karai didn't just take Leo's word that splinter was her father. Nor did she make the mistake of trying to confront shredder. You made her smart. she researched marriages and birth announcements. I'm glad tiger claw escape with her. And technically speaking, not only does she have a loving father waiting, 4 brothers, but also a sister. also I can see shredder teaching a toddler to fight. he had no heart, she was just another weapon for his revenge. please update soon

I love. this chapter short and sweet. Great belated bday present. I wonder if in the next chapter Karai should mention her mother's name? It would throw leo for a loop. How was Bradford able to spy on Karai? his appearance isn't easy to blend in places. And what if next chapter Shredder was the one who followed Karai out, and Splinter showed up as well? That could lead to something interesting.

Thanks for the shout out and early birthday present. I volunteer to beta read as long as it is through pm. I have trouble with docx. I liked splinter reminding Donnie/April to take training seriously even when sparring with each other. And Karai actually caring about what happens to April shows her human more than we saw in the 1st season of the show. Also her questioning April about Leo being her brother although she isn't a turtle was hilarious. Nice work

Bringing in Yoki? interesting choice. I feel for Jason even more than I did in the 2012 show. I understand about hiatus's but think you could put up a chapter by January 5? It's my bday. Sorry it's taken so long to review. But I'm here now. Tiger Claw is definitely one of my favorite characters. He is protective of Karai and doesn't want her hurt. Shredder seems to have less love for her than the tv show. But did he ever love her? From her first appearanceI totally guessed from the start it would be Splinter's daughter Miwa, they gave too much away in the plot episode) it seemed to me he only saw her as a weapon, and away to break splinter psychologically. On a more positive note I'm glad Leo's siblings are trying to keep an open mind about his relationship with Karai.

This is going to lead into some awkward conversations again between splinter and Leo. Splinter is going find out about his texting. I think April should try to talk to both Leo and Karai separately. And I've been wondering who made the best guess regarding chapter 9s hidden inside the chapter, was the title? I'm curious for the answer. please update soon.

The color coding of the turtles has been a mystery of fans for years. Your answer is the one I've always suspected of being the correct one. I wonder if April will discover that Leo has been texting Karai and that Karai and Miwa are the same?

omygod this is...this is AMAZING! i cant believe its freaking 6am, i have a class in the next hour, yet i'm already ugly crying. Dear Evan Hansen is my FAVE musical, which also made me sob. Hearing two of my personal fave DEH songs in the story GAVE ME LIFE!
And WHOA im excited for how humongous the arcs are going to be! DEFINITELY WORTH WAITING FOR!

I also want to say that I'm glad that more of mutations are accidents from the beginning. And not just criminals who got a nasty comeuppance. And one more note in the most recent chapter I liked how April was ready to help Splinter when she saw how upset he was. Again you really captured the essence of all the characters.

I appreciate the fact you didn't leave Splinter in the dark about Karai's connection with the Shredder. Wonder how long it'll be before he founds out it's Miwa he's daughter? It's also good that Donnie and April have come to some sort of understanding about their relationship, even if their still figuring some things out. Again this is totally more realistic than the television show. And personally I don't care how long this story is, I LOVE IT! update soon
