Thanks for the last few chapters. Interesting story. A little confusing to me with the back and forth but I think I have been keeping up pretty well, lol. I was a little surprised at Christine's extremely strong feelings it seems she has for Raoul, lol. Her conversation "with Raoul" seems...telling..., although I know there are more pieces of the story to come togetherEspecially with her realization that Raoul's answers are hers, at least at the end of the conversation... hmm! I am just not a fan of Raoul, lol. I just can't help it, haha! Enjoying your story!

Your novel is truly masterfully written, do you know that? It's just that amazing – oh my goodness! I've lost count of how many times I've read it. Your portrayal of Erik's psyche is exceptionally well-crafted; I genuinely adore how you depict him. My limited vocabulary fails to adequately express my affection for your novel. The way you write Erik is elegant and sensual; you use delicate language to explore his inner world, his love for Christine, and it deeply moves me. There are moments when reading certain sentences of yours, I feel a warmth that starts in my lower abdomen and flows all the way up to my heart – it's incredible, a sensation I cherish so much. I am genuinely enamored with your writing; I absolutely adore, adore this novel.

Why did I not get an email notification that you updated?! Oh my goodness! I cannot believe that we are finally here! Christine in her wedding gown, and Raoul and Nadir so close and yet, I have a feeling Erik wouldn't make this easy for them. I cannot even begin to guess how all of this plays out, but if we are faithful to Leroux its the outcome us EC shippers detest and yet I simply do not care because your writing and storytelling is so well done!
You continue to inspire me and are a big driving force for completing my own work so, off I go! Much love to you and I cannot wait to see what you have next for us!

Just commenting to let you know that I've been following along with this fic for a while and am really enjoying it! Please don't worry about the update speed or chapter length; it always makes me smile when I see an update email because I can visit this story again, and reading it in bite sized chunks works a lot better for me.
Things are very suspenseful right now, and I'm looking forward to the final confrontation! I'm going to admit I'm not the greatest fan of Erik right now considering how mind bendy his manipulation has been, so if it's going to be an E/C ending I'm going to need him very humbled and for Christine to gain a lot more agency, but I also find their dynamics very interesting. I really feel for Christine, because she so clearly does care for him and wants to have a regular relationship but he's not making that possible with his manipulation. If only Erik realized that by giving her control he'd make it possible for her to care for him... But that's the fun of his character, right? He has to go through final lair before the kiss when he's redeemed!

Yeeeeee when I got this notification I thought it might have been a duplicate send of the last update by accident so I was so excited when I opened it and it was not! I am going to have to read the other comments and see if anyone caught something I didn't on this chapter XD I'm due for a re-read of this story from the beginning again I think because the puzzle pieces didn't quite come together for me at my fault entirely. I understood the background with Clarice which does explain her loyalty to Erik but I feel like there's a little something more going on there I can't quite put my finger on yet. Looking forward to the next chapter as always and I'll cross my fingers for another one by Christmas. You can't leave us hanging like this past the end of the year!

What a cliffhanger! You have a clear vision of human expression in your characters that I find especially engaging. We really are all capable of unleashing whatever darkness lies in each of us under the right circumstances.
And how the overall tension continues to build in this chapter is setting a great pace for what you have in store. Looking forward to another chapter!

So glad to see you return! Wish we got to see more of E&C this chapter but I hope that just means we will get even more of them in the next one :) Is it weird I found the butterflies and Erik wanting to find his own to keep safe and protect SO endearing? I know, I know their relationship isn't healthy but I can't help but swoon a little bit at that desire/instinct in him.
