So moonrise is sometime after 9pm, in Scotland, in early November? Does no one ever think to actually look up what a reasonable time would be
The sun sets before 5 o’clock in early November in Scotland. That means that moon rise is going to be close to the same time as sunset since it is a full moon. While I don’t expect you to look up the actual event, regardless of how easy that is to do, at least be reasonable. In 1976 the full moon was on November 6th, with sunset in Edinburgh, Scotland, at 4:21 pm and moonrise 6 minutes earlier at 4:15pm.
Harry and Hermione chose 8pm, for magical reasons and performed the ritual outside because being indoors would block the moons effects. Yet you have moonrise over an hour after their initial transformation. There are no full moon’s rays to help with the transformation since it hasn’t risen yet. If being indoors blocks the moon’s effects then surely hundred (or more) miles of planet in the way will do the same.

Oh my gosh I am so excited Harry finally realized how he feels for her. and is going to tell her. yes! Now just use that lions courage he has and not chicken out. LOL. I'm enjoying this story and am looking forward to more.

Well, most Magical wizards and witches would be terrified of both of their Animagi forms, but in the future battles it would be a great advantage in a fight! I can't wait to see how and when they will use it! Mooney might faint!

I'm guessing Harry is aphoenix or a thunderbird but With him surviving the killing curse twice a phoenix makes more sense. Hermone couud be a shadow panther or perhapse a nundu orsomething. loving the story and looking forward to more

Why would they need Snape's 5th year book? Harry borrowed the 6th year book as he didn't have it, so they're not the same as 5th year. Which also makes sense as not many take NEWTS in Potions.
Your story is indeed slow to proceed, but still an enjoyable read.
I'm glad they try to calm the air between Snape and the Marauders; maybe the fallout with Lily can be dampened?

You're writing out every minute.. you will have to allow some gaps soon. Well you skipped tofays breakfast or how they gave A.D. the chosen identities, but you also did't let time pass when these might have happened :)
You're describing H and H more than showing us their chsracter by their actions. Now we know how they sync, better not re-iterate it.
Some passages are written in present tense, which confuses me. Is there a purpose? Other than that, your writing style flows really well.
Now I assume that James is owling his parents.
Keep on the good writing.
