You said in chapter 1 that he awakened his sacred gear when he was 10, and this chapter goes up till he was 12 and has no mention of it - even saying that "realised" he didn't have one. Did you forget about it or something? Or is there something I'm missing here?

You want "brief" instead of "debrief". Debriefing someone is questioning them about how an action or mission went. Briefing is bringing someone up to speed on a situation. It's a common mistake.
Other than that nitpicking I'm loving this story so far.

I'm glad they won, I like that there were small moments where what Izayoi told them showed while they were fighting, those quotes I mean. I also liked when all of them thanked him, both the verbal and non verbal thanks. And of course I liked him and Serafall reuniting.

I really hope he can train them enough so they can beat Riser. Author, you're killing me with showing some good Akeno and Izayoi moments. But then I saw the author's note about him having a harem. I really hope if you do go down that route that Serafall, Akeno and maybe Kuroka are part of the harem.

Dang, I know this is a one person pairing so seeing him interact with Akeno like that is just torture if they don't end up together especially if Kuroka will meet him as well.

I kind of don't like how this is set up. It has the MC start off with just about everything he could want and with no goals or wants beyond living. It feels like it started at the destination and ignored the journey for a good portion of his character, which just sucks in my opinion. It's the exact opposite of what I'd want in a story for the plot, characters, romance, and power progression. I can sometimes like power fantasy stuff, but when it immediately skips all the setup the story falls apart for me. I can't really say anything else here.
