I am enjoying this story and hope you keep writing. I do have one bit of criticism, the use of modern day slang is jarring. Every time I come across one, it takes me out of the story and I lose my place. if you could not include that it would be helpful for the reader to stay within the story's universe.

Nathan sitting on his porch chair after a sleepover and drinking his coffee is so easy to picture. Hearing about Allies excitement is fun and how her relationship is growing with Elizabeth is heartwarming. Having Allie notice Elizabeth's decision was just icing on the cupcakes!

YES! A wonderful first date! The location was completely unexpected. I love how open and honest they were. I love the connection they feel and that they shared that they are in love with each other.
I love the part about the cafe. So many memories there already for Elizabeth and many more will be made there with Nathan. I'm glad that this first date was somewhere special just for them. It makes a good first date memory for them. Once again Bill came through with a way to help Nathan reach Elizabeth's heart.
