Oh wow that is quite the cliffhanger. I've been wondering if the show would go this route as well but they've never outright stated that another Mountie was supposed to come in Jack's place. Love your story!

I've wondered if there's a connection for Nathan to Coal Valley. The timing of him taking on Allie coincides perfectly with Jack's arrival there. It would be utterly fascinating if the show goes in that direction. "Meant to be" would take on a whole new meaning!

And there it is, Coal Valley. The journey it took to become Hope Valley was sad in so many different ways. it continues to have more stories to go with it's history. But, Coal Valley became Hope Valley and hope will reign. Looking forward to Elizabeth and Nathan working through this information.

These last two chapters were absolutely beautiful! So glad Nathan and Elizabeth don't want a long engagement! I'm also looking forward for them becoming a family of 4 and perhaps growing more! :-)
