another thing I want to add is this manipulation isn't the same thing as control although they are very similar for example control is telling a river to move in a certain direction while manipulation is nudging it in a certain direction this is very important because manipulating something takes less effort and is easier than taking over control for example for electricity instead of controlling it to strike somebody simply make it so the path toward them is the one of least resistance once again manipulation is a push in the right direction control is a shove in a general direction you can also see this in the show for gido just letting them loose and nudging them in the right direction his ultimate defeat was due to the fact that he was an enhancer not a manipulator not to mention he could only control those tops and nothing else unlike most manipulators who are omnikinetic and lastly this whole misconception comes down to the name you are a manipulator not a controller or puppet master you are a manipulator a master planner who nudges things in small ways to get the desired outcome you are planner not someone who uses brute force to get what they want think more contessa and coil and less skitter and regent also don't forget to add in a sprinkle of lisa (influence someone's decision instead of just shifting things slightly to get your end result) finally the most important thing when it comes to manipulators is as such use your brain not your muscles or your magic even a normal powerless guy could win a fight given enough time, preparation, and resources

honestly I think your being kinda dumb with manipulation because like dude you know what most super powers do... THEY MANIPULATE STUFF for example right not your basically a low level omnikinetic since you can manipulate anything you could manipulate air, water, fire, and earth and even your own biology and yet you say that your power isn't as good as other powers since they do things more directly for example transmutation instead of manipulating your hair blonde you could just transmute it blonde but in doing so your missing the whole point of the power and the worst part is you probably could've figured this out by looking up the definition of manipulation (at least according to the super power wiki) your only limitation is that you have to touch something for your power to work at least until you learn how to project nen also to further add to this nen is just a medium through which you can manipulate something.

What an interesting take on Nen itself! The paragraphs can be kinda lengthy tho, my head hurts from all the bio and thinking haha. But the thought process is really interesting, and I can't help but be curious how OC is gonna use his Nen. Can't wait to see his future adventures! Great job, hoping for more!

Awhile back I took a Nen personality test and got manipulator. Then tried to think up some ideas on what I would do with it. I find it rather interesting that you come up to a bunch of the same realizations that I have. Such as manipulating yourself rather than others and the ridiculous possibilities that could allow.

Try to manipulate your nen like Tsunade manipulates/controls her chakra for super strength.
Manipulate your own blood like Luffys Gear 2.
Or like Greed from FMA you can convert your skin into hard but still prehensile graphene, leaving everything else underneath malleable so as not to compromise overall movement.

Killua got to the 200th floor when he was 6 year old talk about working hard and then half the chapter is spend on explaining mc and his thinking about superpower's and then he fucking goes and decides on a weak ass power what's the fking about point when mc is not strong, doesn't have strong power and doesn't want to get involved in the plot. you went on and on about power then selected to manipulate nen which anyone one with nen can already do.
